Best Player Props for Raiders @ Ravens

The Ravens make their 2024 home debut this Sunday @ 1:00 P.M against the Las Vegas Raiders, and with that comes another opportunity to profit from our guys. Last week didn’t go as planned for the Ravens, but we started off the season hot over here, going 4-for-5 on our player prop bet predictions for the season opener against the Chiefs. With Week 1 in the books, we now have an idea of the type of offense we want to run, and the players we will lean on from week to week. On the flip side, we also have a better idea of the strengths and weaknesses of this defense, allowing us to better predict how they will scheme up this Raiders offense.

With those ideas in mind, here are five player props to consider heading into Week 2. Let’s stay hot:

Zay Flowers O 4.5 Receptions (-114 FanDuel)

Racking up 10 targets in the season opener, Zay Flowers solidified himself as the Ravens WR1 for the 2024 Season. Flowers turned those targets into six receptions for 37 yards. Of the 10 targets Flowers acquired, only three of them were longer than 10 yards down the field, meaning the Ravens made it an emphasis to get the ball in Flowers’ hands. They utilized quick passes where he had the ability to catch the ball near the line of scrimmage and use his explosiveness to make something happen. I expect Todd Monken to continue to find different ways to get the ball to Zay, and with that, Zay having no problem hauling in five receptions on the day.

Isaiah Likely Over 3.5 Receptions  (-108 FanDuel)

Isaiah Likely is a freak, and the rest of the league is slowly starting to figure that out. Lamar Jackson, however, is someone who has known that for about as long as anyone. Whenever Likely is on the field, Lamar looks his way. Whenever Lamar looks his way, good things happen. In the final drive of last week’s game against Kansas City, Likely was targeted five times. When the game is on the line, Lamar is trying to find Likely. Last week this prop was at 1.5 and I mentioned that it was only going to go up from there. Here we are a week later at 3.5 and my original statement stands. It’s only going to keep going up, so might as well take advantage of it while we’re at this spot.

Derrick Henry Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-180 FanDuel)

Derrick Henry will be a touchdown machine this year, and he proved that on the very first drive of the 2024 season. The odds are -180, and to me that is still criminally low. It is no secret the Ravens will look to feed King Henry when they get into a goal to go scenario. Last season, Gus Edwards was tied for 5^th in the NFL with 13 rushing touchdowns. Twelve of those were from within five yards. When the Ravens get close to the goal line, which they frequently do, they run the ball. When you include the fact that Henry is there in place of Edwards, you can almost guarantee the numbers from last year will only go up.

Brock Bowers O 3.5 Receptions (-120 FanDuel)

In his NFL debut, Brock Bowers was one of only three tight ends to lead their team in target share, carving out 25% against the chargers (Per NFL Pro Insights). Bowers was one of the prospects with the highest floors in this year’s NFL draft, as he stood out early and often during his time at Georgia. In his pro debut, he continued to stand out on a Raiders offense that will need him to contribute for them throughout this season. In a game where we can expect the Ravens to hold a lead, the Raiders will need to rely on the passing game to keep up. Expect Gardner Minshew to continue to look his young tight end’s way.

Rashod Bateman Longest Reception Over 15.5 Yards (-114 Fan Duel)

We will ride this one until the wheels fall off. In last week’s piece, I pointed to the fact that this was a personal favorite of mine a year ago, and for good reason. Rashod Bateman is the guy Lamar will look for when he wants to take a shot down the field. I alluded to Zay Flowers’ extraordinarily low depth per target in Week 1 above, that is the case because the Ravens identified that one of Zay’s strengths is making people miss in the open field. Bateman’s strength is his ability to open up the defense on intermediate/deep routes, and Lamar is not afraid to look his way.
