在人类历史的长河中，有许多日子因其特殊的意义而被人们铭记，“四．二五”就是其中一个。17年前的1999年4月25日，万名法轮功学员到北京中南海附近的国务院信访办上访，呼吁当局给予一个自由合法的炼功环境。他们坚持正义良知的勇气震惊了世界，他们的和平理性成为时代的典范。为纪念“四．二五”和平上访及反迫害17周年，纽约部分法轮功学员近千人4月23日齐聚法拉盛举行纪念游行。
