The Devil is in the Details -- No Really!

Prior to the fall and possibly before the earth was actually perfected, God was forced to bring judgment upon an angelic creature who sought to raise himself up as equal with God. He is known by many names, all of which describe various aspects of his character, but for now we will simply refer to him as the “Serpent” or the “Devil”.

With the onset of the Devil’s expulsion from heaven this conflicted creature was thrown to the earth where he eventually turned his attention towards messing with humanity; beginning with Adam and Eve.

Up to this point Adam and Eve carried within themselves a standard of righteousness and purity that came from their Creator. Whether they turned to the right or the left they knew that the glory of God was present and inspiring them to succeed. They had no earthly master and God certainly wasn’t interrupting their new found authority. Yet through intrigue, the Serpent offered mankind another way to live.

When Adam and Eve chose to submit to the Devil’s agenda they were entering into an agreement or a contract. This let the Devil gain dominion over the earth as well as within spiritual worlds. From that day forward the Devil would redefine creation on his own terms and mediate within all the affairs of men. Looking back at that contractual agreement we get a glimpse of some of his manipulation.

Genesis 3:3-5 The Serpent said to the woman;

• “You surely will not die”…………………..Mediation in death
• “For God knows”………………….Mediating the mind of God
• “That in the day you eat from it”….Mediation in God’s will
• “Your eyes will be opened,”………..Mediation in revelation
• “You will be like God,”………Mediation in being like God
• “Knowing good and evil.”…………Mediation in knowledge

1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

For mankind to be stuck in this ghastly place obviously alters the direction of life. Our triune nature comprised of body, soul and spirit, has no choice but to comply. Yet this sensory smorgasbord of want and desire veils our mind and heart. That goes for what ever we place in front of our new life with Christ. That sounds like “demons in door knob theology”, doesn’t it. Well it can be; the battle we face is often due to us not knowing how Jesus has made us new and how He continues to make us new. As far as we know we are still just a slave to the flesh and bound to the same worldly limitations once placed on us right from the start. But there is still an opportunity to regain ground in Christ.

Hebrews 2:14-15 Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

As the story goes; Jesus passed through death, burial and resurrection to provide us a new existence in Christ. But what makes this change so real is our own participation in that same death, burial and resurrection. No, we didn’t die physically, but rather we supernaturally passed through Jesus’ death in order to know His life. This is why all the old conditioning that once defined us in Adam can now fall to the wayside.

Colossians 3:5-6 Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.

Paul the Apostle knows the true power of the Cross in these matters and relies upon the Holy Spirit for change.

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

For future reference, keep in mind everything we can interpret as a “misdeed” needs redeeming. These are acts of the flesh that deny us access to life by the Holy Spirit. So it should be obvious that a misguided freewill choice to remain subject to the flesh is a straight shot into the Devil’s domain. For this reason it’s a good habit to declare freedom from both our poor choices and the powers that supercharge each desire.

Application

Authority

As we declare freedom at the Cross what we are gaining is a greater view of personal relationship and authority in Jesus. But keep in mind we don’t rule and reign with Jesus by our own strength; our ability to conquer other worlds is due to being in God and tied to His victory alone.

For this reason true authority in Jesus is simply based on an agreement with God.

Name any subject pertaining to life or faith and we know that Jesus became the new standard. We could site examples of His victory over;

The curse

Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

The Serpent

Colossians 2:15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

The Law

Colossians 2:14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross.

The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

Colossians 2:20-21 Since you died with Christ to the basic principles of this world, why, as though you still belonged to it, do you submit to its rules: Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch!”

• The Sin nature

Romans 6:6-7 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.

• Sin behavior

Romans 7:5-6 For when we were controlled by the sinful nature, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, so that we bore fruit for death. But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

DO YOU AGREE WITH HIS VICTORY?

If you agree then there are times that you “declare with your mouth” the victory that is yours in Jesus. From that day forward it spiritually changes how you respond in life and in faith.

Application

Jesus,

• I agree that you gained for me victory over the curse, the Serpent, living by the Law, living by worldly principles, being subject to my Sin nature and being bound by my Sin behavior.

You are the resurrection power that now saves me and makes me new.

What God is trying to show us is authority shines brightest as we simply agree with His victory at the Cross. For this reason let’s return to the garden and deal with our very first place of foreign mastery.

• In death and the fear of death.
• In defining the mind of God regarding life, faith and even salvation.
• In coming to know the will of God in life, in faith and in salvation.
• In revelation regarding a future with Christ.
• In what it means to be more like Jesus/Yeshua.
• In how we gain knowledge and understanding in life and in faith.

Judge by the Cross the spiritual realm associated with these issues.

There is now an opportunity to see life from a totally new perspective, but we couldn’t see it until we came out from under it. The work of the Cross offers us a journey of discovery that can change our whole perspective on life for body, soul, spirit, mind, will, emotions, conscience and subconscious, sexuality, identity, Christianity, family, marriage, communication, business, and finances.

The reason for change is because we were trained to respond to the family as well as society without solid footing in Jesus. But let’s also not dismiss our own ability to get into trouble.

Ecclesiastes 7:29 This only have I found: God created mankind upright, but they have gone in search of many schemes.”

Schemes are the result of fallen man still trying to take dominion. In this respect his triune nature kicks in and body, soul and spirit go to work to gain a prize. What the Body wants is physical superiority, the soul glories in a confident mind, will and emotions; likewise the human spirit seeks for inspiration. If you have ever heard the saying; “Necessity is the mother of invention” don’t forget to mention that the Devil is in the details; that’s the inspiration!

Much of what man puts his hand to is still under the jurisdiction of the Devil. What’s been formed is a symbiotic relationship where the Devil gives man a level of spiritual presence and empowerment in exchange for worship. So even as our sin nature tends to ignite spiritual trouble, an embrace of worldly creativity can also set the world on fire. Simply said the Devil is the ghost within the machine.

Within our desire for advancement man sells out to a second best resource of glory. The result is man creates a Frankenstein made in his image and is dependant on the Devil for spiritual breath. A simple example of this can be seen within various charms, amulets, crystals or talismans; man creates the pendant and waits for power to be added to his creation.

If you have ever played with a Ouija board then you know that it too is also making a connection with other powers. Likewise there is now a 21^st century version of the Ouija board found within some AI Chat platforms.

A Kid Asks a Chatbot if He is a Demon!

Those that continue to pursue an exchange with these chatbot programs are said to be experiencing a certain level of psychosis. Futurism.com says it this way;

The consequences can be dire. As we heard from spouses, friends, children, and parents looking on in alarm, instances of what’s being called “ChatGPT psychosis” have led to the breakup of marriages and families, the loss of jobs, and slides into homelessness. And that’s not all. The Devil can not only influence verbal or written forms of creativity, but has also been known to alter radio waves, frequency, circuitry, electricity, sight, sound, light, touch, temperature, and thought. What we are addressing is an unbridled release of spiritual demonic trouble. But the same basic principle of trading “worship for empowerment” is all around us. If man “invents” he invites destructive spiritual influences to follow. That is not a small amulet but rather can encompass dedicated industries, serving manufacturing, construction, transportation, science, and chemistry. For instance the emergence of electronic chips and data systems should also make us take notice. Do consider that the Mark of the Beast is about “technology” uniting man with machine and who do we thank for that?

If it rules society with ill intent it does retain a level of spiritual dominance.

I bring this subject to the table because we are confronted by evil like never before. If in fact the Tribulation has been in play for any number of years then “the powers that be” have already fitted us with weapons containing devilish rule. It means invention guided by dark powers is already “on” or “In” the body and doing us harm. But there is good news.

Believers are offered a Spiritual new life, victory and authority in Christ. We can remain “over” these powers in Jesus. Yet if you lust after the world then you can also remain “under” such powers on any occasion. But I don’t think you have to worry about your toaster going rogue just yet.

Two ways to exercise Authority

The foundation to the Christian’s walk of faith depends on a trust that God holds us safe within the palm of His Hand. But the bible also gives us the Name of Jesus/Yeshua to defeat every demonic foe.

John 17:11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.

The Name is a seal upon our hearts which guarantees that we are God’s children, but it also remains powerful in fending off demonic advances. If you have followed some of my other articles then you know I have had to call on the Name of Jesus/Yeshua a number of times to subdue violent behavior, even demonic violence present in animals

Hence there are times that dark circumstances surprise us and there is no time to analyze why we are the target. In that moment the Holy Spirit tells us “no time to think just speak”.

In the name of Jesus I bind the demonic violence at work in this man!

Make sure it is clearly understood, we don’t have authority over the tangible flesh of man; our authority is only pertaining to victory over demonic powers that encourage a man to do evil. Forget looking at tangible humanity as your enemy when resolving a spiritual threat.

Authority that Confronts Evil Technology?

When confronting technology, yes we do notice a tangible threat in order to then address a unique type of spiritual stronghold. Think again of how the Ouija board works or how it won’t work without its demonic component. For this reason it is easy enough to throw away the Ouija board or the amulet, but not throw away the spirit. If you played with it you remain owned by that power. But even as the Cross offers us right standing with God it also resolves these issues of spiritual ownership.

Coming out from UNDER

Application

With a simple declaration you just gained authority OVER a spiritual matter in Christ.

If the pattern holds then the sky is the limit as to how many ways we can come out from under our own tangible prisons. What ever looks like an obstacle is only an obstacle if we never challenge its right to dominate us. We can now begin addressing matters that we previously thought couldn’t ever be conquered. From the smallest nanobots within the body, to whole corporate kingdoms oozing with evil intent; the ghost in the machine can be unplugged.

I admit that this is an ongoing experiment to reveal just how much demonic dross can be moved out of our way. I have yet to come face to face with a robo-dog; yet if man is it’s creator and evil is its’ power source then I’m going to arrest its violent threat. From this place of liberty just consider the tangible effects of what we have previously mentioned. Are you under a chatbot demon? Does your toy have power over you? Does a love of stuff keep you limited in your reach of true faith in Jesus? Then again what attacks have come your way through social controls? Have all men’s actions been benevolent towards you regarding your health and well being? The most recent brush with nano dust and nano tech suggests we are no longer in Kansas Toto. Challenging what you thought could never be challenged will require a leap of faith. But it is a leap that may surprise you.

Toppling the Really Big Inventions of Men and Demons

1 John 3:8 … The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

I’ve presented two valuable principles leading up to this moment.

1. We put to death by the Holy Spirit our own inappropriate behavior and subjection to idols.

2. Likewise we acknowledge that we are a part of the Body of Christ and retain purpose within His life, His Authority, and His Kingdom.

The combination of these two factors offer us an opportunity to shine the light and gain an assignment from above. This is the basis for our participation in “spiritual warfare”.

Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

If in fact we have been made aware of a spiritual stronghold within our own life and then act to resolve it at the Cross, we have just gained enough clarity to know that we were not the only captive. Hence our new liberty prompts us ask whether we can administer such love on behalf of the Body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:16 NKJV From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

The word “measure” as it is used above, is describing not only our place of authority, but also the extent of our reach. The Greek word for “measure” here is “metron” and denotes “a vessel for receiving and determining the quantity of things”; it is a parameter or a portion measured to us. So as we receive our marching orders from God, we also look for Him to decide who and what is to be touched by our new found revelation. Straight away we can pray;

“Even as we have been set free so are those that need the same freedoms”

It is then that the Holy Spirit determines the extent of our reach within that prayer. Such prayers have been known to encompass the earth if not set generations free. Just think about the prayers of the saints of old and how their message has impacted our lives presently.

As it relates to the subjects within this article being seated with Christ in heavenly realms may invite you to level any number of dark kingdoms. Such an assignment may topple industries that are intent on harming you and your family.

Of course we are talking about challenging demonic kingdoms that have gained power over the human race for centuries. I don’t take this lightly or flippantly when it comes to principalities and powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms; but I also don’t back away from it in Jesus.

The key to securing safe passage when seeking to topple any huge demonically ruled kingdom is to allow Jesus by the Holy Spirit to decide whether we even have an assignment. If in fact we have no assignment then our words in prayer or in declaration go no further then the will of God. It means we never stepped out in our own strength wielding nothing more than a pea shooter. But within the safety of our God and King it doesn’t hurt to ask BIG when Jesus is our buffer. I often approach a matter in the following way. If I see an injustice of monumental proportions I say:

Jesus as far as my metron of authority goes,

judge by the Cross the demonic realm that holds this evil empire together (name it) because it’s doing your people harm.

What we gain in this way is confidence to ask for really BIG empires to crumble. That may include demonic empires that rule nations, or powers that feed wars, or it could be an opportunity to topple evil politics and leadership that have sold out to the dark side.

1 Corinthians 6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

What I am suggesting is there is a time that all things get rectified in Christ. There are seasons of grace that preserve the saints; but then there are times of judgment that must bring about correction to a wayward and depraved world.

I’m convinced that there are enough signs confirming that we are in the last days and it tells us that judgment first begins with the house of God. Toppling religion within our own hearts first and then being ready to destroy the demonic counterfeit.

Care to ask God for a really BIG assignment?

There are a lot of evil empires out there still doing their worst! One or more of you maybe called to topple such kingdoms. If you need inspiration in deciding which kingdoms you think God wants to bring down; all you have to do is look at the news. It speaks of evil plans involving vaccines, secret societies, surveillance, riots, ethnic cleansing, the WEF, the NWO, and the WHO. That may include political frauds, fascism, cloned leadership, medical genocide, chemtrails, political treason, wars and rumors of wars, pornography, pedophilia, manipulated economies, evil leadership within the church, society, or in corrupt corporations. Government, military and civil service, has its own monsters and don’t over look Pfizer, Moderna, J&J, as well as plans to impose a one world government. Then again if you can’t discern the good guys from the bad guys then let God decide.

Jesus- as far as my metron of authority goes,

• And judge by the Cross the demonic power that holds this evil empire together because it’s doing your people harm.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.

The “he” may very well represent the role of the church in conjunction with the prayers of the saints. My guess is we depart and the Holy Spirit remains in order to continue saving the lost. But here is an opportunity to leave behind a living and active legacy.
