A native of Enid, Oklahoma, Bob McCarty graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in journalism in 1984. During the next two decades, he served stints as an Air Force public affairs officer, a political campaign manager, a technology sales consultant and a public relations professional. In October 2006, Bob began writing full time at BobMcCarty.com. Since then, his work has been published regularly at Andrew Breitbart’s BigGovernment.com, BigHollywood.com, BigJournalism.com and BigPeace.com and occasionally at other new media sites, including PajamasMedia.com. Bob’s writing efforts have received mentions in several major media outlets, including Fox News Channel, Chicago Sun-Times and St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Bob is married, the father of three boys, and lives near St. Louis.
