I am conducting a probe into a $32 Million facility being built at Camp Ripley in Little Falls, Minnesota called the Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum.
Camp Ripley is a military facility operated by the Minnesota National Guard.
“Bob Anderson”, and his wife “Debra” donated 30 acres for the new Veterans Museum.
The land was DONATED.
The project utilizes approximately 32 acres.
That would be $1 Million per acre – EXCEPT – the land was DONATED.
Valley News Live reports, “The State of Minnesota provided $32 million to design and construct the 40,000-square-foot facility”.
I did a cursory search and found a Grade A facility comparable to the building that costed $1.6 Million – and another at $2.5 Million – both in Minnesota.
KSTP reports “the museum’s board of directors [is] working to raise another $10 million for galleries and collections”.
