The Tom Alexandrovich Case: A Win Against Child Predators, a Loss for Accountability

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

A covert operation aimed at apprehending child sex predators in Henderson, Nevada, in the Las Vegas Valley, led to the arrest of eight individuals, as stated in a press release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Each of them is facing charges for luring a child using a computer with the intent to engage in sexual conduct. This operation involved agents and detectives from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), FBI, North Las Vegas and Henderson police departments, Homeland Security Investigations, the Nevada attorney general’s office, and the Nevada Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The individuals arrested are:

  • David Wonnacott-Yahnke, 40
  • Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, 38
  • Jose Alberto Perez-Torres, 35
  • Aniket Brajeshkumar Sadani, 23
  • James Ramon Reddick, 23
  • Ramon Manuel Parra Valenzuela, 29
  • Neal Harrison Creecy, 46
  • John Charles Duncan, 49

Among the individuals arrested following the two-week sting operation was Tom Artiom Alexandrovich,  the Executive Director of the Defense Division of Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD). The date of the offence featured in court documents shows August 6, 2025, and the location mentioned is Henderson Township.

Following his arrest, Alexandrovich was taken into custody at the Henderson Detention Centre and faced charges for enticing a child using a computer for sexual purposes, a serious felony that could result in a prison sentence of up to 20 years. He was later released from custody on a $10,000-dollar surety bond, which was posted at the Henderson Detention Centre and, curiously, allowed to go to his hotel before taking a flight back to Israel two days later. The post confirms that Tom Alexandrovich was arrested and charged with luring a child for a sex act. All those arrested with him are also facing felony charges for the same alleged offence and were taken into custody at the Henderson Detention Centre, except for John Charles Duncan, who was processed at the Clark County Detention Centre, according to the police report.

This information was first reported by the news site Mediaite, which provided a screenshot of Tom Alexandrovich’s LinkedIn profile, which appears to have now been disconnected.

An earlier post on Alexandrovich’s LinkedIn page indicates that he had been in Las Vegas earlier in August to attend the Black Hat 2025 event, a yearly meeting of cybersecurity professionals, held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Centre in Las Vegas, with a 6-day program. There, he took part in a 2-day course on Practical GenAI with Maxime Cousseau, a Senior Security Researcher at Microsoft, and the founder of OutsourcedCISO, one of Australia’s leading virtual Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) consultancies.

A report from the Israeli outlet Ynet indicates that in Israel, officials have downplayed the incident, saying it carried ‘no political implications’ and was resolved quickly.” Subsequently, Alexandrovich was placed on leave from the Israeli Cyber Directorate by “mutual decision. Alexandrovich has been working for the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD) for a few years, and according to his curriculum, he has played a key role in designing and building Israel’s “Cyber Dome” program, a national initiative to protect civilian cyberspace. He has “shaped national cybersecurity policies not only in Israel but also on the international stage. He has advised senior government officials, managed multi-million-dollar cybersecurity budgets, and contributed to the resilience of critical infrastructure and election security.”

What has piqued the public’s curiosity was not only the fact that Alexandrovich was allowed to return to Israel, but the fact that he is the Chief of Israel’s Cyber Directorate,  a governmental body that operates under the authority of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, which released a statement refuting claims that Alexandrovich had been arrested, stating:

“A state employee who traveled to the US for professional matters was questioned by American authorities during his stay,” adding, “The employee, who does not hold a diplomatic visa, was not arrested and returned to Israel as scheduled.”

It has been alleged that the Trump administration stepped in at Israel’s request to facilitate the release of Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, enabling his quick return despite facing felony charges. However, we were not able to substantiate this claim. It is still unclear who within Trump’s administration might have intervened. Furthermore, a larger trend has been observed—Since 2014, more than 60 alleged US sex offenders have escaped to Israel through the Law of Return, avoiding prosecution with the help of local communities and prolonged extradition processes. Notable cases include Malka Leifer and Jimmy Karow (CBS News, Haaretz).

While Israel has extradited some individuals, the trend of seeking refuge in Israel continues…

Netanyahu’s Cyber Chief ARRESTED in Vegas Child Predator Sting — Then Sent Home Free. It’s an Abomination. He’s an IDF vet and Head of AI for the Israeli Government

Why in the world was this man allowed to flee the country? He doesn’t even have a diplomatic visa? It’s an abomination and EVERYBODY should be calling it out.

A Predator in a Suit

On this past Wednesday, August 13, 2025, Las Vegas police — working with the FBI, Homeland Security, and Nevada’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force — announced the arrest of eight men in a two-week child predator sting. One of those men was Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, 38, THE TOP Israeli cyberwarfare official working directly under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

According to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, Alexandrovich and the other suspects were charged with luring a child with a computer for a sex act — a serious felony that in Nevada can carry a sentence of up to 20 years in prison. Here’s the press release on the local Fox 5 news affiliate in Las Vegas.

A National Security Insider

Tom Artiom Alexandrovich is not just another Israeli bureaucrat. He is one of the most powerful cyberwarfare officials in the entire Israeli government, a man operating at the very nerve center of the nation’s intelligence and defense machinery. As the Acting Head of Data & AI for the Israel National Cyber Directorate, his job is nothing less than safeguarding Israel’s critical infrastructure from digital attack — everything from power grids to airports to the nation’s most sensitive intelligence networks.

Before that, he was the Executive Director of the Cyber Defense Division, where he didn’t just manage programs — he founded Israel’s multi-million-dollar “Cyber Dome” initiative, a sprawling AI-driven cyber defense grid designed to detect, neutralize, and repel cyber threats before they could cripple the country. He was building the walls of Israel’s digital fortress, and in doing so, gained deep, unrestricted access to Israel’s cyber secrets, its classified partnerships with foreign powers, and its most closely guarded national security data.

This is the kind of figure any ally — especially the United States — would be expected to monitor closely, not shield from prosecution. Yet that’s exactly what happened.

Why in the world was this man just given a free pass???

Israel’s State Media Spin

While American authorities listed Tom Artiom Alexandrovich in public arrest records, Israeli outlet Ynet painted a completely different picture. They told readers:

“An employee of the Israel National Cyber Directorate… was briefly detained for questioning… before his release and return to Israel… The reasons for the questioning remain unclear.”

That’s it. No mention that Las Vegas police publicly announced his arrest as part of a multi-agency sting targeting child sex predators. No mention of the charges — felony luring of a minor for a sex act. No mention that this “brief questioning” involved the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, Nevada’s Attorney General, and multiple police departments working together to take down online predators. The Israeli press didn’t just soften the story. They buried the truth completely.

The Outrage: A Free Pass Home

Here’s what makes this case even more staggering: Alexandrovich does not have diplomatic immunity. He was in Las Vegas for a professional conference, not as a registered diplomat. There was no legal obligation for the U.S. to let him go. Yet within days of his arrest, he was not only released, but allowed to board a plane and fly back to Israel — with no trial, no bail conditions, and no public explanation.

Think about that for a moment. What ordinary person — arrested in a child sex sting — would be allowed to leave the country? What message does this send to victims and survivors of abuse? And why would the United States, a nation that loudly claims to be a global leader in fighting child exploitation, make an exception for a foreign official accused of one of the most serious crimes imaginable?

How does Trump, and his America First agenda defend this? I thought they were all about catching child sex predators???

Political and Legal Questions That Must Be Answered

This scandal doesn’t just raise eyebrows — it demands answers. Who, inside the U.S. Department of Justice, authorized Alexandrovich’s release? Was the decision made independently, or was there pressure from the State Department or even the White House? On the Israeli side, why is a man facing charges for an alleged sex crime against a minor still employedin one of the most sensitive national security positions in the country?

This isn’t just a criminal matter — it is a national security breach. A man with top-level cyber intelligence access was arrested in a U.S. sting operation targeting child predators. Instead of facing prosecution, he was quietly spirited out of the country. That is not law enforcement. That is a cover-up.

A Bigger, Darker Pattern

Unfortunately, this case fits a long, disturbing pattern in which Israeli authorities intervene to protect powerful men — including those accused of sexual crimes against children — from facing justice abroad. From fugitive rabbis to political allies, state mechanisms have been used again and again to block extraditions and shield offenders.

If Alexandrovich’s case is quietly swept under the rug and he is allowed to retreat into a desk job in Tel Aviv, it will confirm what so many already know: the rules for the powerful are not the rules for everyone else. The victims are silenced, the predators walk free, and the governments that enable it all pretend nothing happened…
