Hegseth making his speech today about destroying much of Iran’s military infrastructure. Using “information dominance” where there is little evidence. Is he exaggerating claims whereby coming out to the public first, allows him to “frame the reality” before Iran can?
If he is attempting to “shatter public morale” within Iranian populace? Not sure how this would be successful considering Iran has clamped down on outside news, with its Intranet being the only source of info., plus confiscating Starlink units from citizens. So any attempts to create “erosion of trust” in Iran’s military would also be perhaps tightly controlled in the same manner?
Is he hoping that by “forcing deception” through his unverified claims, Iran will come out with evidence to the contrary to reveal the true status of their military hardware, capabilities – revealing their hand essentially?
Since all the nations Trump asked to aid in the re-opening of the Strait of Hormuz declined, is this a strategy to frame US’ dominance in this war, where the aim is to influence these nations future decisions to align with its own?
