Something is going on with Elon Musk. And I don’t mean another strange tweet or some random prediction that disappears from the headlines two days later. Back in 2017, Elon Musk was sounding the alarm about artificial intelligence, warning that AI could become a fundamental threat to civilization. At the time, a lot of people thought he was being dramatic.

So my question is this: Why does Elon Musk keep issuing warnings about civilization threats… and why do some of the things he warned about years ago suddenly look a whole lot less crazy today?….
