  The man pictured on your screen right now is Abu Mohammad al-Julani. He is a Syrian militant who is the head of the of Jihadist group Hayʼat Tahrir al-Sham, further more referred to as simply HTS, and since the 8th December this year, al-Julani has been crowned the defacto leader of Syria. He’s the man you will have seen on the news giving interviews and being fawned over by Western politicians and media pundits.

  But what these politicians and media pundits aren’t talking about is that he was formerly the leader of Al-Nusra Front, the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda. The same Al-Qaeda that British and American forces spent two decades at war with in Afghanistan. What’s more, al-Julani was also affiliated to ISIS in Iraq, the famous black clad, head chopping Islamic terrorist group. This colourful history led to the FBI offering a massive $10 million dollar bounty for information on al-Julani in 2017. As part of that call for information, the FBI stated the following, and I quote:

  The U.S. State Department designated ANF as a foreign terrorist organization under the Immigration and Nationality Act and a specially designated global terrorist entity. In May 2013, al-Jawlani was named a specially designated global terrorist, by the U.S. State Department, blocking all his property and interests in property subject to U.S. jurisdiction and prohibiting U.S. persons from dealing with him.

  To any normal person on the street, this would be a head scratching situation: why are Western powers and the media so eager to embrace Abu Mohammad al-Julani and HTS? This new embrace has led to the British establishment already making moves to remove HTS from the list of banned terrorist organisations maintained by the government, waving away the history of the group, with Western intelligence agencies desperately trying to claim that HTS are not a threat to the UK.

  This all seems like a very swift about face, it’s almost like Abu Mohammad al-Julani and HTS have some very powerful friends in very high places who have managed to give them a pass for their previous indiscretions. And they do. HTS and Al-Nusra Front before it, whilst opposed to the Syrian and Iranian regimes, have one very powerful ally in the Middle East – the state of Israel. Israel has for many years supported Jihadists in Syria, offering arms and military support to Al Qaeda and even arguing that the destruction of ISIS is a bad thing.

  And again, to the man on the street, this may well be another head scratching revelation, as for years Israelis and supporters of the Zionist state in the West have tried to convince Western populations that Israel is in fact the ‘first line of defence’ in the global struggle against Islamic terrorism! This has for a long time been one of the main reasons put forward by Zionists as to why the West should be so supportive of Israel and why Israel deserves not only Western funding, but also British and American military support.

  However the fact is, the very opposite is true.

  Israel has a history of opposing powerful and often less radical and more secular regimes in the Middle East, undermining those regimes by funding, arming and assisting Islamic Jihadists in the region, plunging countries into chaos and bloodshed.

  And none of this is a recent development, in fact it has been Israeli policy for over a decade. One of the first instances of this policy being reported on comes from an article in the Jerusalem post that was published on March the 13th of 2015, I now read from that article, and I quote:

  Report: Israel treating al-Qaida fighters wounded in Syria civil war

  Nusra Front is the Sunni Muslim al-Qaida offshoot which is currently fighting the Iranian-backed axis of Bashar Assad and Hezbollah in Syria.

  The article goes on to explain how Israel in fact opened its borders to these Al Qaeda fighters and actually allowed them onto Israeli soil in order to provide them with medical treatment. Now some may argue this was just medical aid being provided on humanitarian grounds, but those people should be reminded that this is Israel, the same country that has repeatedly used its military might to prevent medical supplies as well as food and water from being delivered to women and children in Gaza. What’s more, Israel has in fact targeted and killed Western aid workers in Gaza who were attempting to alleviate the humanitarian crisis. [show less]
