Former astronaut who ‘warned about aliens before suicide attempt’ speaks for first time

Former astronaut who ‘warned about aliens before suicide attempt’ speaks for first time A FORMER astronaut tried to warn the world about aliens before she tried to end her own life, it has astonishingly been claimed.

Claudie Haigneré, 59, France’s first female astronaut and the first European woman on the International Space Station, allegedly screamed “Earth must be warned!” before she attempted suicide. The claim has been made on conspiracy theory websites wich published a strange video with the reported exclamation. While she did attempt suicide, critics claim a video doing the has blended fact with fiction to create the strange alien warning theory.

It says the esteemed astronaut had to be restrained before saying, ‘Earth must be warned’.

The voice also tells viewers the laboratory in which she was working when the incident happened back in 2008 was at the forefront of human and alien DNA research.

UFOmania says it was destroyed by fire.

Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual said: ’Many UFO believers or conspiracy theorists think that we are not being told the truth about UFOs and their alien pilots, and think that full disclosure about the facts will be made public one day.

‘In the case of Claudie Haignere, her role as an astronaut, connection with a laboratory that was allegedly burnt down and her suicide attempt, is a heady mixture ripe for conspiracy theorists to exploit and use to prove that we are the mercy of sinister alien forces beyond our control or comprehension.’

Haigneré also made history as the first European woman to visit the International Space Station during her 2001 mission aboard Soyuz TM-33. In 1999, she became the first woman qualified to command a Soyuz capsule during reentry. Her career in space science included significant contributions to research on human adaptation to microgravity. Following her retirement from the European Space Agency (ESA) on 18 June 2002, she entered politics, serving as Minister Delegate for Research and New Technologies from 2002 to 2004 and Minister Delegate for European Affairs from 2004 to 2005.

She has remained active in science promotion, serving as the honorary patron of the Cité de l’espace in Toulouse since 1997  , and as the founding director of Universcience from 2009 to 2015. In 2018, she chaired the jury for the DStv Eutelsat Star Awards, becoming the first woman to serve on the panel. Haigneré has received numerous honors, including the Chevalier of the Légion d’Honneur and the Chevalier of the Ordre National du Mérite, as well as the Russian Order of Friendship and the Medal For Merit in Space Exploration. She is also an honorary member of several scientific academies and has streets named after her in multiple French towns.
