The Tenant is a psychological thriller that will keep you turning the pages or listening obsessively until the end. I’ve listened to several of her books and I’m never disappointed.
Blake Porter has it all – the big promotion, the fiancé, and the nice house… until he doesn’t. He ends up being fired out of the blue from his prestigious job and he cant make any sense of it. The situation makes it impossible for him to make the mortgage payments on the new brownstone he and Krista live in. Krista suggests they look for a tenant until he gets another job and Whitney enters the picture. Everything heads downhill from there. Blake is convinced Whitney is out to get him and setting him up for something. The question is what? As things escalate Blake begins to question his reality. Is he losing his mind?
I will always listen to Freida McFadden’s books if I can. The pace and things that happen just come across as even more chilling to me. The Tenant is narrated by Will Damon and Christine Helen Lakin and what a job they both do. Yet another winner from Freida McFadden for me. Recommended for those who love psychological thrillers.
