The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is one of the largest investment projects between Pakistan and China. CPEC is the main project of China under Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which was started in 2013 with the aim to improve communication and collaboration between the two nations by implementing a network of infrastructure projects, including pipelines, railroads and roadways.
