I THINK SCRIPTURES WERE CHANGED IN THE 4TH CENTURY

Translator (I guess scribe) Jerome & Pope Damacus I both lived in the 4th Century

I am sure the religious leaders in the 4th Century would BE TOLD, AND LAMENT that their parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces, will be told that ALL THEIR RELATIVES and friends IN PAGANISM WILL DIE AND GO TO HELL; if the Catholic Church doesn’t add their pagan ideas to our N.T., saying that Jesus is virgin born, pre-exist his conception, and his body is Deity (he can’t have a wife and child).

Pagans believe in many gods, while the Jews will say “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one’.

Christianity would have died in the 4th Century if pagan ideas HAD NOT BEEN ADDED to our Christian N.T.

John 11:50 The Jews said, “You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.” (Referring to Jesus).

In a similar vain to ELIMINATE this theological problem for PAGANS, that would hinder most pagans FROM COMING to and BELIEVING IN Jesus for salvation; because they would consider Jesus a SINNER if he has a human father (therefore meaning he can’t be perfect or speak for God the Father.

LOOKS LIKE ST. JEROME is like all of us a sinner/saint LOL

I think most or all Popes are proselytized from pagan religions to Christianity; and not converts from Judaism. Jews were a SMALL POPULATION, that would not support a GROWNG CHRISTIAN CHURCH, since the ABUNDANT MIRACLES of Jesus and the Apostles GREATLY DEMINISHED after the death of all of the Apostles.

I believe what the Apostles wrote in the 1st Century, but not what was added in the 4th Century. No Pope or any other human is perfect, for we are all created beings in the hands of a loving God. Emmanuel (means God with us), and this Spirit of God isn’t a created being that is dwelling inside of Jesus. The body of Jesus is created by the marriage union of Joseph and Mary (this is the ONLY WAY HUMANS REPRODUCE (no exception unless you embrace an ancient pagan MINDSET.

Most important THE SPIRIT OF GOD, doesn’t need any help keeping Jesus perfect in mind or body (no virgin birth needed). Humans sin because we have a created spirit put in our bodies at conception. The Spirit of God isn’t a created being, therefore God has no problem keeping Jesus perfect; (if Emmanuel needs human assistance keeping Jesus perfect then God is not all-knowing or all-powerful). The Bible says that Jesus is human JUST LIKE ALL MEN, in every way (without a pagan heritage).

My conclusion:  I think the Pope of Rome gave the pagans GRACE, for every generation goes to a spiritual salad bar and they pick and choose what they perceive is RIGHT, and TRUTH for us to believe (and very often we are wrong).  If the Pope hadn’t given them grace, Christianity would have died in its infancy; and no one would be a Christian in 2024.
