You’ve Just Realized That the End-Times are Actually Happening – Now What? Seriously, NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!???!!!!
Posted July 20, 2025 | End Times Watch | River Wilde
I believe that just two days ago, with the passing of the STABLECOIN into law, many people are finally waking up to the realization that we are living in the end times…Like…HOLY CRAP…We are nearing the END OF THE WORLD!!! May I say to you, “Welcome, where have you been? We’ve been waiting for you to join us.”
Most people do not want to accept change when it happens. They prefer things to remain the same as they were, and when they change, they still hang on to that former time and just pretend that nothing is changing. This strategy is only successful for so long, and when things happen that are STRAIGHT out of the Book of Revelations, they are forced to realize that things ARE changing, regardless of what they think.
I’m certain that there are still some hold outs in realizing that we are in the final 7-years of our existence here on earth. If you are one who is still kicking the can down the road, I caution you that your desire to not deal with reality might cost you your very soul. Your new home might very well be in the “Lake of Fire” living as a servant and slave to satan….Just a heads up from a friend.
So, for those new to the group, now that you’ve realized that you are in the final years of life, what can you do? What SHOULD we be doing? Do we just hang on and let the end-times play out? Well…NO!!!!!
The scriptures give us the answers that we are looking for here in what we should be doing in preparation for the end-times.
In my research, this is the answer that keeps popping up in the scriptures, as the most important thing that we can be doing right now to prepare for the return of Jesus Christ:
Be Born Again (Saved by Faith in Jesus Christ)
“Ye must be born again.” – John 3:7
Salvation starts here. No one can enter the Kingdom of God unless they are born again spiritually by placing their full trust in Jesus Christ as Savior.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8–9
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9
You’ve heard this phrase, Being Born Again, right? But what does it mean? Is it something given to you through a church? A special prayer? What exactly is this?
Many people believe that if they go to church, and try not to sin, that they will be saved from all of the chaos that is to come to the earth. Is this true? Referring to the scripture above, we must first realize that being SAVED from these things is a GIFT from JESUS Christ, and has NOTHING to do with our works.
It’s not about paying tithing, checking off the requirement boxes of your church, not about attending the temple… for it has NOTHING to do with our works. Then how do we receive His Gift of Salvation, and become saved? If being Born Again is the answer, WHAT IS IT???
Being Born Again is an actual process. When we do the things that Jesus Christ has asked of us, a person will find that their life changes. They become noticeably different than they were before, because of inviting Christ to be a part of their life. They essentially have been BORN AGAIN. This change in their life is evidence that they have been Born Again.
So how does a person become Born Again? Here are the things that He identified in the scriptures:
1.Prayerfully Turn Your Life over to Jesus Christ and Pledge to Follow Him.
Luke 9:23-24 (KJV)
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.”
➡ Jesus teaches that following Him involves denying self, surrendering control, and embracing His path.
Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
➡ Paul describes his life as no longer his own—it belongs to Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:15 (KJV)
“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”
➡ When you turn your life over to Christ, you stop living for self and start living for Jesus.
2. Recognize Your Sinful Condition
Romans 3:23 (KJV) – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
You must understand that you are a sinner and cannot save yourself through good works or religion. You must accept the atonement of Jesus Christ as the way to be forgiven of your sins.
3. Understand the Penalty of Sin
Romans 6:23 (KJV) – “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Sin separates us from God and brings death—both physical and eternal. So now what? You are a sinner, and have been told that a sinner cannot live with God. Don’t quit here…Keep reading.
4. Believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Your Savior
John 3:16 (KJV) – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Acts 16:31 (KJV) – “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved…”
Here lies the answer. Jesus Christ came to earth to participate in an event called the atonement. In miraculous fashion, He took upon all of the sins of the world. He felt all of the emotions from those sins of others. Then in fulfilment of Old Testament Prophecy, He became a sacrifice when His blood was spilled on the cross and He died for us. He did this for you and me. Study this and understand what it means. You must believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1–4).
The atonement includes NOTHING that is contributed from us. NOTHING. It was His gift to us, and not something that we earn through our works. It is complete in itself, and all that is necessary. Do not offend Him by saying that our works are or contribute to the reason that we can be saved. Here is a scripture that supports this logic:
John 19:30 (KJV):
“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.”
Meaning:
This powerful statement, “It is finished,” comes from the Greek word “tetelestai,” which was commonly used in commerce to mean “paid in full.”
In this context, Jesus is declaring that:
- His mission to redeem mankind through His sacrificial death was complete.
- The debt of sin was fully paid.
- The Old Covenant was fulfilled, and the New Covenant was now in effect.
It was not a cry of defeat, but a victory declaration—Jesus accomplished all that the Father sent Him to do. Your works are not contained anywhere in His atoning sacrifice. We need to understand this as the truth, and stop believing otherwise.
5. Repent (Turn Away) from Your Sin
Acts 3:19 (KJV) – “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…”
Repentance, being on your knees and asking God for forgiveness for the sins that you have committed, is a requirement. Repentance is a change of heart and mind that leads to turning away from sin and turning toward God.
You will also find that repentance is a tool that can bring you immediate peace, and a felling of once again being clean and pure.
6. Call Upon the Name of the Lord
Romans 10:9 (KJV) – “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Romans 10:13 (KJV) – “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
You have turned your life over to Jesus Christ. You are born again when you truly call out to Jesus in faith, asking Him to save you.
7. Receive the Holy Spirit
John 3:5–6 (KJV) – “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”
When you are born again, the Holy Spirit comes to live within you. This is the new birth. You receive His spirt as a gift, it is not an earthly ordinance that is given to us from other men. It comes directly from Jesus Christ to those who have given their life to Him.
Have you ever noticed in a crowd of people that some actually have a glowing countenance? They look different. Their light shines in their face. Why is this? Is it a certain religion that brings this light to them? NO, it’s not a church, but it is given to those who follow Christ and receive His Holy Spirit. Ladies, if you’re looking to improve your looks…I’m just saying. =)
8. Begin Walking in Newness of Life
2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
You begin a new life—led by the Spirit, no longer living for sin but for Christ. You have become Born Again. Now this is where our works come in.
After we have been Born Again, our desire to sin diminishes. We obey commandments NOT because we have to, but because we want to show Christ that we are changed. We desire His presence to be with us…CLOSE BY. When we sin, and we sill might, we lose that close feeling with Christ that we had. As we repent, forgiveness is restored, and we enjoy our new spiritual life again.
So, you can see, God’s judgment for those who have been Born Again has nothing to do with sin. What would He be judging us on? We have NO sin. We have been forgiven for ALL sins through the atonement of Jesus Christ, and He REMEMBERS THEM NO MORE! But wait… What about our GOOD WORKS, are they important?
YES…YES…YES!!! Again, realize that even our good works have nothing to do with being saved through the atonement of Jesus Christ, but they do make a difference in our eternal living.
People that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior are known as His Church. It is not specific to any religion or denomination, for there will be no churches or religion in heaven.
And for members of His Church, God will have a judgment, for them and only them. In the scriptures this is referred to as The Judgment Seat of Christ. This is a judgment not for condemnation, but for rewards based on how believers lived their lives after receiving salvation through Jesus Christ.
Here are key KJV scriptures about this:
2 Corinthians 5:10 (KJV)
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
This judgment is not to determine salvation, but to evaluate the believer’s works—their motives, faithfulness, and fruitfulness. Good means that we will be given a crown of glory, and Bad – No reward is given. (Bad does not mean sin here).
1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (KJV)
“Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.”
Even if the believer’s works are burned up (meaning they were done with wrong motives or were useless), salvation remains intact, but rewards will be lost.
Revelation 22:12 (KJV)
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
2 Timothy 4:8 (KJV)
“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
What are these rewards that the scriptures speak of? What are the Crowns of Righteousness? The scriptures again tell us:
1. The Incorruptible Crown
Also called: The Imperishable Crown
Given for: Self-discipline and victory over the flesh
Scripture:
“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.”
— 1 Corinthians 9:25 (KJV)
2. The Crown of Rejoicing
Also called: The Soul-Winner’s Crown
Given for: Leading others to Christ
Scripture:
“For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?”
— 1 Thessalonians 2:19 (KJV)
3. The Crown of Righteousness
Given for: Loving and longing for Christ’s return
Scripture:
“Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”
— 2 Timothy 4:8 (KJV)
4. The Crown of Life
Also called: The Martyr’s Crown
Given for: Enduring trials, persecution, and even death for Christ
Scriptures:
“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life…”
— James 1:12 (KJV)
“…be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”
— Revelation 2:10 (KJV)
5. The Crown of Glory
Given for: Faithful shepherding and spiritual leadership
Scripture:
“And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.”
— 1 Peter 5:4 (KJV)
These crowns are not symbols of personal pride, but rewards of grace and opportunities to glorify God. Believers are seen in Revelation casting their crowns before the throne:
“The four and twenty elders fall down before him… and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord…”
— Revelation 4:10–11 (KJV)
Can you see the beauty of God’s plan now? Can you see that there awaits a gift for you from Jesus Christ but you must accept this gift in order to receive it? It is not forcibly given to anyone? Don’t let this slip by…Go After IT TODAY!
And by the way, in case you are wondering, will the sinners who do not accept Jesus Christ be judged? YES! This will be done at a separate time from the Judgment Seat of Christ, at the end of the 1,000-year reign of Christ and is called: The Great White Thorn Judgment. Their judgment will be entirely based upon their sins, since they have not been forgiven through the atonement of Jesus Christ, for they did not accept it. Let’s just say that things do not end well for this group.
Chances are that you’ve heard some things today that might be different from what you have been taught before. This is the experience that I too am going through personally. I invite you to take no mans word when it comes to spiritual teachings. Please seek God in a quiet place and ask Him if the things that you are learning are true. He will validate all truth to you. This should be a part of your plan while you are still upon the earth. Take every troubling thing to God and ask Him what’s true, for that is what He asks of us:
James 1: 5-6
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
