St. John Mary Vianney

Feast date: Aug 04
On August 4, the Church celebrates the feast day of St. John Vianney, patron of priests.
John Vianney, also known as the Holy Curé de Ars, was born May 8, 1786 in Dardilly, near Lyon, France to a family of farmers. He was ordained a priest in 1815 and became curate in Ecully. He was then sent to the remote French community of Ars in 1818 to be a parish priest.
Upon his arrival, the priest immediately began praying and working for the conversion of his parishioners. Although he saw himself as unworthy of his mission as pastor, he allowed himself to be consumed by the love of God as he served the people.
Vianney slowly helped to revive the community’s faith through both his prayers and the witness of his lifestyle. He gave powerful homilies on the mercy and love of God, and it is said that even staunch sinners were converted upon hearing him. In addition, he restored his church, formed an orphanage, “La Providence,” and cared for the poor.
His reputation as a confessor grew rapidly, and pilgrims traveled from all over France to come to him in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Firmly committed to the conversion of the people, he would spend up to 16 hours a day in the confessional.
Plagued by many trials and besieged by the devil, the St. John Vianney remained firm in his faith, and lived a life of devotion to God. Dedicated to the Blessed Sacrament, he spent much time in prayer and practiced much mortification. He lived on little food and sleep, while working without rest in unfailing humility, gentleness, patience and cheerfulness, until he was well into his 70s.
John Vianney died on August 4, 1859. Over 1,000 people attended his funeral, including the bishop and priests of the diocese, who already viewed his life as a model of priestly holiness.
The Holy Curé of Ars was canonized by Pope Pius XI in 1925. He is the patron of priests. Over 450,000 pilgrims travel to Ars every year in remembrance of his holy life.
In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI, commemorating the 150th anniversary of St. John Vianney’s death, declared the Year for Priests. The Pope wrote a Letter to Clergy, encouraging all priests to look to the Curé of Ars as an example of dedication to one’s priestly calling.

St. John-Mary Vianney effectively died on an August 4 of year 1859 and was cannonized on May 31, 1925 by Pope Puis XI. His feast day is AUGUST 9. The to-day’s feast is of St Dominic. Once again we have a permutation of date within the callendar of saints. Let’s see what could be the rat behind this seemingly inconsequential permutation by the counter-church which has pirated the Roman Catholic Church for the past 67 years.
St Dominic, confessor, born in Spain, in 1170, and died in Bologna, Italy, in 1221. He founded the ‘Order of the Friar Preachers’ i.e. the DOMINICANS, propagated the devotion to the ROSARY, and saved the Western Church from the growing power of the Albigensian heretics.
St Dominic is clearly a heavy weight in the sacerdoce, and the Holy Rosary composed its fifteen mysteries -given in person by the Blessed Virgin Mary- is too big to ignore, so his feast has been switched to the ones of the Holy Curé d’Ars, St. John-Mary Vianney, the beloved patron saint of parish priest. A clever indeed move made to silence the Dominicans. Why is it so important for the apostates to degrade St. Dominic? Antipope John-Paul II changed the Holy Rosary by adding the Luminous Mysteries. This is a sabotage and an affront to the BVM, Our Lady of the Rosary. CNA is once again helping the devil.
The sabotage by Antipope JP2 was a part of the prophecy in John 25: St. Peter had to cross 20 cubits lenght to reach Our Lord. This was an obstacle to St. Peter whose net caught 153 fishes. The ’20′ are the mysteries of the sabotaged rosary, while 153 fishes represent the Hail Mary’s prayed during the original & untouched Rosary.
CORRECTION. Once again I made a small mistake in talking of the prophecy which announced the sabotage to come at the moment Our Risen Lord was still among us. It is in John chapter 21, and St Peter who was naked while having caught no fish during the night, after realising the miracle and the presence of the Lord on the beach, identified first by St John the Apostle, the pure and loving one, got dressed in a hurry and jumped in the water. Remember Simon Peter was not a good swimmer. He swam & ran 200 cubits, which is the number 200 of the Antipope JP2;s Hail Mary recited by the unaware faithful catholics. Does CNA realise the heresy?
The Luminous Mystery is bancal in its five mysteries. I cite one example: Our Father in heaven spoke three times to His creatures while His Son was on earth; 1. During Baptism; 2. during the Transfiguration and; 3. to entire Jerusalem during Holy Week. The “Luminous Mysteries” ommit one. This is just an example to prove that the Rosary of JP2 is not from heaven but from a man evidently inspired by Satan.
My previous error shows how much the devil hates to be exposed in its wichedness. I hold it responsible for those typos.
St Dominic,pray for us.
This may sound trivial and unimportant, coming from this clumsy typing hand, but I happen to travel once a week on the freeway from Lyon to the Beaujolais region, and so I pass at great speed at a short distance from Ars. I have been blessed with a powerful German-made berline, a BMW of a color night blue, which particular color, shows without a doubt of a choice in this gift by Our Blessed Mother in heaven. I pray the Holy Rosary in daily devotions for years already. I confess to not live the most perfect Catholic life but will make a detour in the days to come, in order to pay respect to Monsieur le Saint Curé. I already owe him a lot already from having helped me out of the pit.
If I may share a story on St. John-Mary Vianney.
A certain woman from Lyon, a widow, was asked by her son for the permission to mary a damsel he loved. The woman was unsure, so in secret, she decided to take a coach towards Ars in order to ask council to this mysterious curé whose reputation for holiness was growing. Upon arriving, she found the church packed with people waiting for confession. Without a word she sat for a while at waiting in line. After a moment, this brave woman realised that she could not wait any longer, so she quietly stood-up in order to leave. As she was reaching the alley, sudenly the door of the confesional opened. She saw a little man coming out. Walking towards her. It was the curé. The saint confessor told before returning to the confessional: “Marry them! They will be happy!”
