Do You Think You Know Who the Antichrist is? He Will Not Be Revealed Until God Allows It

The eyes of the world are on Israel once again. Peace talks, global alliances, and promises of safety fill the air — just as prophecy said they would. Many are asking, “Is this the beginning of the seven-year tribulation?” and “When will the Antichrist appear?”

The King James Bible gives us the answer: the Antichrist will not be revealed until God Himself allows it—and that moment will come in His time, not before.

The Mystery of Iniquity Is Already at Work

“And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.”

Evil is already working behind the scenes. The systems of control, corruption, and deception that will one day empower the Antichrist are being prepared right now. Yet the “man of sin” himself is still restrained.

This restraint comes through the Holy Spirit, working through the faithful believers who stand for truth and righteousness. As long as the Spirit is active in the Church, the Antichrist cannot seize full authority.

God’s Appointed Time

Paul said the Antichrist will be revealed “in his time.” That means there’s an exact moment on God’s calendar when the restraint will lift and the Antichrist will step forward to take control.

According to Daniel 9:27 (KJV), the Antichrist will confirm a covenant “with many for one week” — meaning a seven-year period. For the first 3½ years, he will appear as a peacemaker, bringing stability and false hope to the world.

But halfway through the tribulation, everything changes.

The Midpoint — When Restraint Is Removed

“Only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed…”

At the midpoint of the seven years, the Antichrist will break his covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:27) and set up the abomination of desolation in the temple, declaring himself to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:4).

That moment marks the lifting of restraint — and the rapture of the faithful.

The Church will be caught up to meet the Lord just as the Antichrist seizes full power. This mid-tribulation event separates the first half of “false peace” from the final 3½ years of God’s fierce judgment, known as the Great Tribulation.

The Timing Is God’s Decision

No world leader or political force can reveal the Antichrist before God’s appointed time. The peace agreements, digital systems, and global control mechanisms may all be preparing the way, but they cannot bring him to power until the Lord allows it.

“Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.”

God is the One who opens the seals, allows the deception, and sets the boundaries for evil’s reach. Even Satan’s plans bow to divine timing.

The Call for Believers

The Church must not fall asleep during these days of preparation. We are not to fear, but to watch and stand firm in truth, knowing that God has not appointed us to wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9).

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

Until the 3½-year mark, the restraining power of the Holy Spirit continues to work through God’s people. Then, when deception reaches its height, the trumpet will sound, and the faithful will rise to meet Christ in the clouds (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).

The World Is Being Prepared

Every peace negotiation with Israel, every cry for global unity, every new system of digital control—these are stepping stones leading to the time when the Antichrist will take the stage. But until the Lord allows it, his identity remains hidden. So… stop guessing =)

When that time comes, he will be revealed—and soon after, the Church will be taken up to safety before God’s full wrath is poured out upon the earth. This is what you can plan on. These are the true teachings of the Bible.

Final Thought

The Antichrist is restrained for now, but the world is being readied for his arrival. Prophecy is unfolding exactly as written.
But remember—God is still in command. The Antichrist’s power is temporary, his peace is false, and his defeat is certain.

“Then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.”

So while the world prepares for the Antichrist, the faithful prepare for Jesus Christ—our Redeemer, our Rescuer, and our coming King.
