Terrible and Shocking Video of Child Abuse in Zimbabwe
A heartbreaking video has surfaced showing a child being subjected to severe abuse in Zimbabwe. In the footage, a woman can be seen threatening to beat the girl, even stepping on her neck, with promises to continue the violence when they get home. This is a stark reminder that children are not for abuse—neither for exploitation, nor for sex or forced marriage.
Children are sacred. They deserve respect, protection, and love. It is the moral duty of every individual and community to uphold the sanctity of human life, especially the innocence of children. The trauma inflicted through such wicked acts does not only harm the physical body but also damages the child’s mental and emotional well-being profoundly.
This atrocity must not be ignored. The Zimbabwean police must act swiftly to investigate this incident, bring the abuser to justice, and ensure the child is taken into safe custody. Adults have no right to vent their stress, depression, or frustrations by hurting vulnerable children. Instead, we should nurture and protect them.
Let us all pray for the safety of this child and for her swift release from the shackles of abuse. Every child has the right to grow up in a safe environment, free from violence and harm.
