Sen. Bryan King Talks About Fluoride on CBS News

Arkansas State Senator Bryan King was interviewed recently
by Mark Strassman of CBS News’ “Eye on America”
regarding water fluoridation in Arkansas.

A growing number of states are considering banning fluoride from public drinking water.

However, many questionable people are doing everything they can to keep a lid on this toxic industrial chemical, known as fluoride. Senator King speaks up because he knows the dangers of fluoridation and that people should not have fluoride forced upon them.

Listening to the reporter in the CBS video, you would think that the hazardous fluoride that’s put into our drinking water is good for us and is from a natural source… BUT what’s actually injected into our public drinking water is TOXIC CHEMICAL WASTE FROM THE FERTILIZER INDUSTRY!  It’s POISON!!

Are you aware that the company Mosaic is one of the largest sellers of fluorosilicic acid which is widely used by public drinking water systems across the US to fluoridate water supplies?

The company produces approximately 135,000 short TONS of fluorosilicic acid ANNUALLY.

And they were FINED back in 2015.

The company that gets rid of highly toxic wastes by selling them as a “product” to municipal water departments across the country as cheap fluoridation chemicals has been fined $2 billion for gross violations of the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), reports the Fluoride Action Network (FAN).

Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC, is one of the largest sellers of a toxic fluoride chemical, “fluorosilicic acid”, that cities add to public drinking water. Fluorosilicic acid is described by EPA in the Consent Decrees as a “hazardous waste” produced at Mosaic’s fertilizer plants.

More than 200 million Americans drink these wastes every day.

Fluoridation Company FINED $2 Billion

It is ironic that the EPA acknowledges the threat posed to groundwater by Mosaic’s hazardous waste disposal

because one of the chemicals classified as hazardous waste is fluorosilicic acid, another waste product of their fertilizer production.

Fluoridation was banned in Utah earlier this year. Why?? Because arsenic and other contaminants were found in the fluoridation chemicals at levels that are clearly NOT SAFE.

And thankfully, Florida has followed Utah’s lead regarding fluoride.

Utah and now Florida are the two states that are NOT allowing fluoride in the water.

1)  In March 2025, Utah became the first state to ban fluoride in public water systems.

2)  And now Florida has become the second state to effectively ban fluoride additives in public drinking water via SB 700 that was signed into law May 15, 2025. The law took effect July 1, 2025.

3)  At the federal level, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said this week it was starting a process to remove fluoride supplements for children from the market. Did you know that the fluoride supplements have never received FDA approval and are now being scrutinized due to concerns they may:

• alter the gut microbiome in young children and

• be linked to thyroid disorders, weight gain, or decreased IQ

“Ending the use of ingestible fluoride is long overdue,” said HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. “I’m grateful to Commissioner Makary for his leadership on this vital issue — one that directly safeguards the health and development of our children.”

Fluoride additives used in water fluoridation, such as fluorosilicic acid (FSA) – also known as hydrofluosilicic acid, sodium fluorosilicate, and sodium fluoride (which can literally etch glass) – commonly contain trace levels of contaminants. The specific number and concentration of these impurities can vary based on the source and manufacturing process of the fluoride compound.

• Fluorosilicic acid is a byproduct of the manufacturing process for phosphate fertilizers. During production, fluoride emissions are captured and transformed into this acid using scrubber systems.
   

• Specifically, phosphate rock (from Florida and Louisiana, largely processed by companies like Mosaic) contains fluorine, which is released as gaseous fluoride compounds during acid treatment. These are then condensed into aqueous fluorosilicic acid.

So remember, fluorosilicic acid is considered an EPA hazardous waste byproduct, and THIS is what’s being added into drinking water.

Please don’t be fooled by the news media and fluoride proponents when they mention naturally-occurring fluoride.

Naturally-occurring fluoride is NOT what’s being added to our drinking water, and the news media and fluoridation pushers are being disingenuous and HIGHLY misleading by saying so. And even naturally-occurring fluoride can be dangerous.

If you’ve ever heard of or studied Logical Fallacies (arguments that can be disproved through reasoning), the news media and fluoride proponents are using what’s called equivocation: a statement crafted to mislead or confuse readers or listeners by using multiple meanings or interpretations of a word or simply through unclear phrasing.

And we, the people, deserve to know the truth.

So, what IS the truth?

The fluoride that’s added to drinking water is literally a hazardous waste byproduct.

That’s why the product is indicated by a skull and crossbones on the packaging.

Here are just some of the common trace contaminants/deadly substances that are found in the fluoride products sold to our public water systems. These are alarming!

• Arsenic: A known carcinogen, arsenic can be present within fluoride additives. The maximum contaminant level goal (MCLG) for arsenic is ZERO!
   

• Lead: Trace amounts of lead may also be present. The MCLG for lead is ZERO!
   

• Aluminum: Fluoride can form complexes with aluminum, potentially impacting the nervous system and contributing to Alzheimer’s disease. Human exposure to aluminum fluoride can occur through industrial emissions or the ingestion of both fluoride and aluminum sources. The aluminum content in fluoride additives is significant and varies between batches.

Arsenic and lead are both classified as hazardous substances and are regulated under multiple environmental laws due to their toxicity, persistence, and bioaccumulation risks! It’s also IN OUR DRINKING WATER at levels that are clearly NOT safe! 

Background: Arsenic has a long history of use as a homicidal agent. It’s known as the king of poison and the poison of kings. And did you know that arsenic does NOT decompose, biodegrade, or move downward through soils and will remain permanently in the top layers of soil, unless it is removed?!

Now you know why hundreds of public water systems across the country have shut down water fluoridation! Exposing the harmful effects of fluoridated water is sending ripples throughout corporate America but will give Americans greater health if fluoridation is finally discontinued.

It’s criminal. Our water facilities have become a hazardous waste disposal system for these chemically contaminated fluoride products that originated from the phosphate fertilizer industry.

Please note: You cannot boil fluoride out of your tap water. Boiling only concentrates it! Fluoridated tap water is toxic and is completely unfit to cook with, water your plants and vegetables, or water animals, or bathe in it.

Considering all of these points… why is our state still MANDATING water fluoridation for community water systems over 5,000?

Other countries around the world are aware of the harm of adding fluoride to their drinking water, and therefore, they keep it OUT of their drinking water.
