David Montaigne
The son of two Philadelphia teachers, David Montaigne was taught to respect knowledge and wisdom. An early focus on math and science gradually shifted towards history, especially his two favorite and usually unrelated topics - ancient civilizations and World War II. Deep dives into historical research meant constant reading and writing and travel and research, including archives in Washington, London, and throughout Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. But as of 2023 it\'s less likely you\'ll spot him at the National Archives or the Vatican or under a pyramid, and more likely you\'d find him fishing or hiking with his kids or typing at a computer somewhere amongst the Amish near Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
