Crime… “Criminals usually don’t just go directly to Murder”

I happened to be watching the History channel’s “History’s Greatest Mysteries” and revisiting the Zodiac Killer and the still “theories” of who it might have been, but still not enough evidence to solve/close the Case.

But, importantly, they said that line about one Criminal suspect “Criminals usually don’t just go directly to Murder” and that triggered the impetus for this piece. As, yes, that is “generally true” and why I wanted to use that Show and that line to point out the stupidity of the left and their clueless soft on crime policies!!!

Repeat: “Criminals usually don’t just go directly to Murder” which is why, Rudy Giuliani style, successfully implemented, which greatly reduced crime in NYC and brought the City back from the brink of total-destruction; to one where tourism, it’s saving grace, again returned; “Broken Windows Policy” works.

Let’s examine the how and why “Broken Windows Policing Policy” works every time and every place it is implemented, versus the converse DUMBocrats’ “let the Criminals claim victimhood and let them right back out onto the Streets” stupidity.

1) if you can intercede in petty crimes and indeed reform someone that might be able to be reformed they do not escalate to higher, worse, levels/types of crimes!!! This is simple-stupid common-sense, yet people are so devoid of any ability to engage in logic, reason, historically demonstrated, facts – focusing on skin-tones rather than actions of “the individuals” (not which “collective Identity Politics” group to which the Left uses to divide-and-conquer) in MLK “content of character” individualism we should be focused on – not “Equity” of stats/numbers for those unwilling to be part of Civil-society. Consequences be damned, says the Left, they are more concerned about superficial “optics” than holding bad people accountable.

 
2) in the other sense “Criminals usually don’t just commit only one crime or one level/degree of Criminal actions” … Arresting Criminals for lower-offenses leads to keeping them off the streets committing the other crimes, and to give us time; with the limited resources for investigation; being able to amass the evidence to convict them for other Crimes they committed that we just yet hadn’t been able to pin on them yet — and along those lines, once you finger-print (and now DNA) them for the lessor-crimes if they are not in the system yet, evidence left at others Crimes lead to these folks being then able to be caught and charged with the other unsolved (of yet) crimes they had committed.

Sadly, though, any and all of this common-sense is lost of Libtard Snowflakes that care more about coddling Criminals and pretending they are victims than the damage and deaths caused to actual Crime victims!

As TERROR STRIKES is NOT just about Terrorism or Terrorist acts, it does (as a sub-theme) deal in the issues of general crime too. As, obviously, the greater everyday threat to average fellow Americans is potential death by a general Criminal’s action versus that of a Foreign Terrorist. Had to close with that important distinction. And, like my book, this article is NOT intended to be about death and destruction, but instead… Life, not Death. Love, not Hate. Hope, not Fear. All the while, however, not being oblivious to the dangers around us.

A “behind-the-scenes of my writing process” aside: I was considering “Bird? Plane? Superman? CCP Balloon!” (obvious what about) article and the seriousness and potentials for it being used as a weapon (EMP, Nuke) delivery by N. Korea (who still has trouble developing ICBM’s) and/or “out of the box” thinking many lack (as to how our enemies may/can strike us (like Iran also not need ICBM’s once having a Nuke to put on a Ship and park off NYC to detonate (or hand to their many Terrorists proxy groups for use), but I figured others likely to write on that (and, I not so diplomatically just inserted here those extra thoughts their pieces may not contain/mention) so I opted for this “likely to be completely unique” piece on Crime (following idiot Biden SOTU manure and this just one of his FAILURES as POTUS (that likely will be covered plenty by others before my “scheduled Saturday TLB articles release date” too).

Crime, Criminals, and left’s strained/lacking Credulity.

 

Like the old GEICO Ad (and was the basis for another article of mine) proclaimed: “That’s not how that works! That’s not how any of this works!” The Woman proclaims to the other elderly lady about her putting photographs on her Living-room wall. When you refuse to punish Criminals, no matter how sternly you “wag your finger” and keep repeating “C’mon man, we know you can do better” going soft of Crime encourages more Crime. Failing to punish Criminals, they then know they can escalate to more frequent Criminal acts and even potentially more severe Crimes that put more and more U. S. Citizens at risk. So for the sake of the STUPID, time to revisit: “Should Be “DUH, NOW I GET IT” Moment, But Won’t Be For The Left…”

Walmart is closing down the remainder of its Portland Oregon stores (while parts of Oregon try to become part of Idaho (as discussed in my “Latest WOKEism” TLB piece)). BIDENflation? Well, yes, that too; prices are soaring, people are cutting corners, profits down; but in this particular case due to yet another WOKEtard enclave, weak on Crime, passing Laws literally allowing up to several hundreds of dollars in Shoplifting and declared no/zero consequences! I in no-way care or are concerned about the idiots in Portland that Voted for the Stupid in charge of their City that refuses to reverse course with endless clear evidence of the “cause (their stupidity, bad WOKE policy) and effect” and their ever-growing Shopping-desert (as Walgreens, CVS, others, too announce plans to withdraw from Shoplifting/Crime riddled DUMBocrats areas). However, I have great lament and concern for those losing their Jobs/Livelihoods (though, sadly, most of them likely Voted for those beyond stupid (what did you expect) policies putting them out of Work) ever extending the Poverty of the failed Lib-policy zones.

 

These issues are not the exception, but the rule in WOKEist Left-land. Crime continues to run amuck unchecked in Blue cities/counties – not just Blue States (but too Blue enclaves controlled by Idiotocrats even in Red States). Lori Lightfoot may have been fired by Chicago Voters, but they’ll be putting in a poser (like Adams in NYC) into Office (most likely, the real public safety Candidate Republican has zero chance) next.

Even some DUMBocrats have had enough, like kicking Lori Lightfoot to the curb. Lori becomes the first Mayor of Chicago (virtually any City, regardless of Party affiliation) to not be re-elected to a second-term. Some even going so far as to engaging in Recall efforts for/against WOKE weak-on-criminals DA’s, Prosecutors, and even Mayors/Governors. However, as we see in Chicago, they may remove one Idiotocrat only to (that definition of insanity again) going to Vote in just another Idiotocrat; just one that lies better – Leftist loons refusing to learn the obvious “You shall know them by their Fruits” and all their empty-rhetoric and platitudes they spew are meaningless; they have Records, but they refuse to hold them accountable for them and even worse promote their incompetence to the next Governmental level to screw up even worse.
