America, The Land of Lost Opportunity

The fundamental building blocks of America since its founding have always been Liberty, Justice, Morality and Education. The failure to uphold these four pillars of our Democratic Republic have consecrated not only our heritage but the future of our nation. There has been an infestation in the halls of government for decades that have managed to incorporate ideals and policies that have subjugated the American public to the point our future as a Democratic Republic will succumb to a tyrannical ruling class elite.

The handwriting is already on the wall sort of speaking brought on by the political process that has been corrupted. The seeds of corruption were planted long ago. Today millions of Americans languish in desperation clinging to any hope that someday they too can attain the ever-elusive American Dream and pass it along to their children. 

It has come to pass thru manipulation, disingenuous domestic and foreign policies for years that have allowed the economic and financial fortunes for countless millions of Americans to wither and die on that vine of lost opportunities. Opportunities that have been stripped away by the ever-encroaching monopolizing corporate structures that continue to play the vital role in the legislation that has devastated the American public.

Within the last 20 years there has been a feeding frenzy of mergers and acquisitions of major industries. It is these industries that produce over 90% of the products, goods and services we all rely on. It is the consolidation of industry that leads to less competition which gives rise to the inflationary trends that are striping away consumers purchasing power. When the majority of Americans can’t afford even the basic necessities America has a huge problem. Affordable housing is a thing of the past, rising prices in food. medicine and just about everything needed to live today are now today’s reality.

We have allowed history to repeat itself. It was back at the turn of the 20th century where the Carnegies, the Rockefellers, Vanderbilts and J.P Morgan dominated American industries much like the monopolies of today. The difference then to today is that there wasn’t the influx of imports that are so essential for the American public. It wasn’t until President Theadore Roosevelt used the power of the Presidency to use anti-trust laws to as he termed a square deal for the American public.

What is so alarming that today’s disproportion of wealth is pretty much like it was back in 1900. When there remains a wealth disparity gap as wide it is today and the ineffectiveness of government to employ anti -trust legislation is a sign of how much corporate influence there is in legislation. To spur more economic growth via more competitive markets is vital to curb inflation. We tend to forget that to achieve economic balance the majority of populations must be able to fulfill the “Williams Theory of Economic Evolution” When more people have enough disposable income to spend, pay down debt, invest, and save 10% is the greatest deterrent for economic instability. 

With the world on edge where at any moment like this past hurricane that hit Florida disaster will strike. And right now, millions are so ill-prepared for any contingency that will occur. The United States can mitigated forth coming either natural or man induced catastrophes. The continued escalation of armed conflict in the Mid-East, and Ukraine requires a response that is based on humanitarian needs and not using the military industrial complex which only further pushes the world that much closer to Armageddon.

We have allowed elected officials to use their elected office ineffectively. What needs to be done is to produce legislation that would actually promote and produce a stable economy, reduce the inflationary trends, bring balance back into our society and further usher in peaceful means to solve international disputes. But no, they have vested interests far removed from the realities that their legislation continues to do to the American public and millions around the world. 

The political will to implement National Economic Reform’s Ten Articles of Unification has yet to be realized. Education is paramount to grasp the scope of what those ten articles will do once it is incorporated into our daily lives. To keep America’s future from self-imploding, bring balance back into our society, have the ability to reduce the severity of major natural disasters, and be able solve international disputes without the use of armed aggression has to be the America’s calling.
