Only A Blood-Soaked Crown Will Rule Iran
The idea that foreign intervention can liberate a people and a nation is idiotic and ahistorical. It is true that foreign powers can help a people achieve freedom, financially, symbolically, and morally. America itself was birthed with French help and later in the Civil War Russia’s intervention on behalf of the North dissuaded the British from making any aggressive moves amidst the chaos.
But freedom cannot be won and secured by outside powers via war.
For Reza Pahlavi to marry his political fate with America and Israel, endorsing their unjustified acts of war against Iran, tells me he’s not a student of history. Besides, he appears weak and cowardly like his father did, who also was gifted the throne by foreign powers.
I don’t see this character lasting beyond a week in a post-Islamic regime environment in Iran, should events proceed to that stage. He will get assassinated quickly.
And that begs the question? Who will rule Iran next? If reports are true that Khamenei is dead, would the Iranian people accept another old hypocritical Ayatollah to take his place? That’s hard to believe. The age of the Mullahs has come and gone. They did enough damage.
But don’t expect for the crown of Iran to magically be placed on Pahlavi’s head. An ancient crown has to be won with blood and with a warrior’s charisma. Ayatollah Khomeini wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty when he snatched the crown in 1979. He killed his political allies and rivals for fun. The next ruler of Iran will have to do the same. Relying on the CIA, MI6, and Mossad to get the crown is fool’s gold. A true king does his own killing.
