Jill Scott has been laying low on the music scene for about 4 years now, after the release of her last album The Light of the Sun. Sure we’ve seen her in a few acting roles since then, but nothing compares to that resounding voice we all know and love. Well, I can’t speak for everyone else but I love it. Just a few weeks ago, she debuted a new single out of nowhere called “You Don’t Know”. That song, with its bluesy night club themed music video, is actually a remake from fellow Philly singer, Lorraine Ellison. Despite the fact that I’m such a huge fan of Jill Scott, I truly believe her version is better. This track is said to be featured on her upcoming album, rumored to be titled Woman.
