Netherlands, the EU, mass line narrative attack on UNWRA and CDC director on the VAXX: Links 1 for July 12, 2024
Before the list, a few words about the Rolling Stones in Vancouver.
Mick Jagger got boo’d for a joke he made about Trudeau. He got boo’d because the audience was too young to get the joke and mistook what Jagger said as a compliment to Trudeau when in fact it was a clever insult, based on an incident with Trudeau’s mother who is alleged to have had sex with band members back in the 1970s. He made a similar joke in Toronto at The Steel Wheels tour when he said something like, “It’s great to be back in Toronto, although the band got a little nervous when we arrived and found Mila Mulroney waiting for us at the airport”. That got a little laugh because the audience was able to remember the headlines about Maggie Trudeau and her involvement with the Stones.
Jagger apparently had to take a break after the booing to cope with it. At his age, and mine, we have a longer memory than the average rock fan. At least in Vancouver. And in Canada now, we tend to meet all references to Trudeau with derision. People don’t parse the remark for subtlety.

Dr. Robert Redfield is an American virologist and physician known for his work on infectious diseases, particularly HIV/AIDS. He served as the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) from March 2018 to January 2021 under the Trump administration.
Career Highlights:
- HIV/AIDS Research: Before his tenure at the CDC, Dr. Redfield was a prominent researcher in the field of HIV/AIDS. He was a professor of medicine and the founding director of the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. His work focused on the clinical care and treatment of HIV, including the development of therapeutic and vaccine strategies.
- Military Service: Dr. Redfield also had a long career in the United States Army Medical Corps. During his time in the military, he focused on clinical research related to chronic human viral infections and diseases, particularly HIV.
- CDC Directorship: As the CDC Director, Dr. Redfield led the national public health agency of the United States during a critical period that included the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. His leadership faced both praise and criticism, particularly regarding the CDC’s response to the COVID-19 crisis

3. VERY IMPORTANT:
The European Commission offered ? an illegal secret deal: if we quietly censored speech without telling anyone, they would not fine us.
The other platforms accepted that deal.
? did not. https://t.co/4lKsaRsYoA

4. Speaking of the EU, which by now we all know is just a main branch office of the COMINTERN, above and beyond secretly censoring everyone on social media, they are thwarting the Netherland’s attempts to preserve itself as a Dutch polity.
European Commission warns Netherlands that it cannot declare an asylum crisis yet
The European Commission made short work of the Cabinet-Schoof’s plan to declare an asylum crisis, saying that it is not possible to do this that easily. According to European asylum guidelines, Suspending asylum application processing is also not feasible. The Netherlands must submit a well-substantiated request to the European Commission in order to declare an asylum crisis. They will judge the request, European Commissioner of Migration Ylva Johansson wrote.
The Netherlands first needs to show that it has done enough to get the asylum chain in order before it can declare an asylum crisis, Johansson wrote in answer to the questions of member of parliament Sophie in ’t Veld.
The coalition agreement of the PVV, VVD, NSC, and BBB states that there will immediately be a temporary Asylum Crisis Act. “With crisis measures to combat the acute asylum influx and reception crisis for the near future.” One of the things in this temporary law, which is meant to apply for a maximum of two years, is the suspension of processing asylum applications. The Coalition partners called that an ‘asylum decision stop.’
If the Netherlands does not follow European rules and declares an asylum crisis anyway without permission from the European Commission, the Commission can intervene through a so-called infringement procedure.
5. Some good news though from the Netherlands. For once telling the clear demonstrable truth was not a crime the deputy PM could be prosecuted for. Although Geert was and everywhere else and for every one else, truth still seems to be punishable, either through the courts or extra legally.
Case dropped: Deputy PM not prosecuted for saying Jew hatred is part of Muslim culture
The group insult case against Deputy Prime Minister Mona Keijzer has been dropped, the lawyer representing the complainants told NU.nl. She won’t be prosecuted for saying that “hatred of Jews is almost part of the culture” in countries where Islam is the dominant religion. She made that statement on Sophie & Jereon on May 17th, before being sworn in as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning.
Keijzer apologized for the statement after criticism from other guests on the talk show, but a group of lawyers and a historian with a Muslim background still pressed charges against her. They believe that a Cabinet member cannot be allowed to get away with such statements with nothing more than a quick apology after criticism.
The complainants are disappointed that the case was dropped but don’t feel like they achieved nothing. “The Public Prosecution Service (OM) confirmed that Keijzer made unsubstantiated statements in the program and therefore behaved irresponsibly,” lawyer Reinout Sterk told NU.nl, speaking on behalf of the complainants. “That behavior can create a breeding ground for intolerance and undermine respect for the equality of others.”
The irony here is likely that if it went to court, she could present a defence that would be so water-tight that it would be forever legally factual that Jew-hatred is intrinsic to Islamic doctrine and culture and that would be that. So really, it would be better if the state did prosecute, assuming the trial was conducted under Western legal methods and was open to public observation.
Thank you all for reading this site and considering its ideas and materials in the light presented.
