The Real Power– And Limitations – Of Trump’s Victory

There is a demographic concept increasingly used in the US, that is “pay-check Americans” – people paid casually and monthly who live, if you will, from hand-to-mouth.

These people voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump….because, one suspects, they sense how the better-off elite that has usurped power in the Democratic Party under Cult Obama no longer cares for those at the bottom of the heap – and probably, in private, despises them.

African Americans and Latinos voted en masse for The Donald. So much for the propaganda against “Trump the white supremacist”.

This morning, the major networks Stateside are projecting President-Elect Trump will end up with 312 votes in the Electoral College. The number is so high because he took so many ‘Blue Wall’ States that would normally vote Democrat.

Remember – the GOP is and always has been a numerically minority caucus.

The popular vote may look close at first sight, but Trump is projected to end up five million ahead of Harris. Based on the same projected turnout data, that is is a victory margin closer to 5.4% as opposed to the 2.8% being bandied about by the almost universally anti-Donald media networks.

Be not in any doubt here: President Trump inflicted a crushing defeat on Woke Democrats. Expect demands for a purge after a suitable period of Progressive mourning.

In the meantime, we have seventy-four days to come before Donald’s Second Inauguration.

What might happen during that hiatus period?

Well, here’s something to chill your blood just a tad: Harris has promised Trump and his team “a peaceful transfer of power”. Two things to observe here….

1. When did you ever before hear a defeated incumbent US VP promise a peaceful transfer of power? Doth the lady perhaps protest too much?

2. Go to theembedded link from the still to your left, and listen closely to the irony in her words…. and how her self-obsessed Groupies respond to her tone. It is very obviously one of, “Which is more than we got in 2020 from your Team”.

Is that a Peacenik Promise or just another lump of snide from a Piece of Work? You decide. And while you make your mind up, remember that Sleazy Joe still faces the reality of the US Postal Service [whose Union is a firmly Democrat-donating supporter] having its vote-transfer haulage subpoenaed to show once and for all that Kamala the Klepto and her boss stole the 2020 POTUS outcome.

A lot can happen in seventy-four days – if those still nominally in power want to make high-handed claims to be saving democracy while burning the Constitution.

And this is where the Dept of Defense [DOD] ‘legal lethality’ BS instrument suddenly becomes very important….as do all the Compendium of Courage civil rights activists featured on the Slog’s Home Page.

I think we have the right – as citizens of a world too long dominated by US hubris – to get this sleeping jackal put down.

The DOD has no part to play in socio-political civics. President Trump and his majority of allies in Congress must repeal the lethality edict in the first hundred days.

Now it’s time to stop knocking the élite losers and, more positively, start holding the victors to account.

In terms of control of Congress and a whopping Electoral College majority, on November 5^th 2024 American registered voters effectively gave Donald Trump a blank cheque.

Now he and his team must use it, but not abuse it.

Support for Ukraine was an expensive, Deep State military-industrial folly, not a fight against the unproven global greed of Vladimir Putin.

The Middle East conflict is about Zionism vs Islamist extremism, not the right or otherwise of Jew and Arab to exist in harmony.

The World Health Organisation [WHO] is the creature of Global Pharma’s desire to make profit from unfustified citizen fear, not in any shape or form heal the sick.

Silicon Valley spy-tracer phones and AI are the unholy inventions of corporate perverts, not the long-term servants of human liberty.

Changing tack – but with a genuine purpose in mind – can it really be that I am the only person anywhere on Earth suffused with anger at every bank’s ability to use the politico-fiscal Sovereign Debt clout they have to take the almighty piss out of customers?

Needing to help a small entrepreneur cover his risk on materials required to buy sand, cement, tiles and grouting for a radical remake of my tiny apartment garden here, I went to a local bank to withdraw 6,500 dalasies [GMB dollars] from my bank account, wherein sit 10,000 dalasies.

“You can only withdraw 5,000” said the birdbrain I had to experience due to the fact that her employer’s ATM machine was Out of Service…that is, the AI equivalent of Out of Touch.

“It’s my money,” I replied with an anorexic smile, “So I’ll withdraw every last cent should such an action please me”.

“You can’t,” she said , “It’s policy”.

She was right, and I was wrong. Policy dictated that, and I had to accept it.

Let’s all please try and remember that – should The Donald and some well-chosen allies return the US to its values of decency and wise anti-colonial isolation – there will be still be elected lawmaker pricks elsewhere on the planet willing to cede bank-depositor transubstantiation powers to retail bank branches….powers whereby what was your moneywhen you arrived in the branch becomes theirs when you leave five minutes later having deposited it with them.

As I observed in these columns earlier this week, ‘One election win doth not a better culture make’.

Cultures improve slowly over time.

The perverted bourse capitalism and dangerously connected central banking systems of our time can no longer be policed and controlled solely by The Dollar.

Unipolar hegemony is dead.

Be you MAGA nationalist or just a decent person – and both have rightly had their say at last on the recent Guy Fawkes anniversary – there are structural problems within the current model of mercantilism that require all the blocist élites to re-examine the nature of their power bases.

The only currency that really matters is the potential of the individual.
