1. We haven’t really posted a lot on the Dutch soccer riots. This is in part because the Israeli soccer hooligans, the Maccabee Extremes I think they are called did more than just muddy the waters on this. They behaved criminally, and in terms of the optics, worse than criminally. They made what appears to be a pre-planned attack on Israelis and Jewish people in general in Amsterdam appear to be a rational reaction to their actions.. The Soccer Hooligans in Israel should be on criminal trial and at the least have their passports taken away.
This doesn’t justify what happened after the game. And if one looked at the entire set of events without considering any ethnicity at all, say if all people involved were White Brits and fans of different soccer clubs, we might come up with a more rational sense of how to have dealt with it justly. The hooligans deserved to be reacted to themselves for sure. But attacking anyone the other ‘team’ chose to associate with the hooligans is criminal and not acceptable. And maybe even terrorism. Self defence is one thing and even collective self defence is arguably the same thing. but for example, what happened to these people points to a much larger problem. Also the fact that many of the events of that night appear to have been premeditated for days or weeks beforehand means at least those events had nothing to do with the Israeli hooligans,

BREAKING: New testimony from the horrifying pogrom in Amsterdam the other night.
Yaheli, a 14-year-old Jewish boy, along with his grandfather, ran in fear for their lives as they were chased down in Amsterdam after the soccer game.
While fleeing, they picked up a couple of sticks from the ground for self-defense.
Suddenly, two Dutch police cars arrived and stopped nearby. The officers immediately became aggressive without allowing them to explain that they were holding the sticks for self-defense.
The Dutch police ordered them to lie on the ground, then started kicking them, including the 14-year-old boy.
Afterwards, they were put into a police car to be driven to their hotel, where they noticed “Free Palestine” stickers inside the vehicle.
The Dutch police knew they were Jewish, which is why they were aggressive, attacked them, and kicked them on the ground.
They were aware of what had been going on all along.

“Hi David, The knife attack this morning at East Street Market happened just after the 2 min silence for Remembrance Sunday.
“The guy was shouting “Allahu Akbar” as he started attacking people. He severed an Asian man’s arm off. A stall holder managed to stop him.
“In my opinion, this is without a doubt a terror attack. Stabbing 3 random people is causing terror no matter the motive.
