John Carpay piece on the CBC, Dearborn is pretty much captured, ANTIFA getting arrested, more: Links 1 for Sept. 26, 2025

When the CBC dislikes a person or an opinion, our taxpayer-funded broadcaster calls it “controversial.” In CBC-speak, “controversial” means conservative, libertarian, religious, traditionalist, classical liberal, or otherwise not in line with woke ideology. For the CBC, there is nothing “controversial” about a man who “identifies” as a woman having an absolute right to enter women’s washrooms and other female spaces. Only those who seek to protect safe spaces for women are “controversial.”

As millions mourn the murder of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the CBCdescribes his pro-life and pro-Israel opinions as “controversial.” According to CBC writer Verity Stevenson, Charlie Kirk promoted “some of the far-right’s more extreme ideas.” In her story, Ms. Stevenson secures quotes from academics who describe Kirk’s “far-right” rhetoric as “harmful” and as “hate speech.” As can be expected of any good CBC employee, she reliably fails to quote academics (or anyone, for that matter) who have a different opinion.

3. Looks like the US has turned the corner on domestic terror groups like ANTIFA while in Canada, Parliament UNANIMOUSLY voted to make the Proud Boys, a really nice group of young men who protected middle aged women from ANTIFA aggression, a terrorist group without mentioning ANTIFA at all. That is the Conservative Party of Canada. In case you thought there was a political solution to our problems.

4. Dearborn Mi. has the singular honour of being among the first, if not the first city in the US to blast out the Islamic call to prayer at 5:00 AM.

Since the invention of the alarm clock, could there by an excuse to wake up a city to call Muslims to prayer? Clearly the intention is otherwise. Like street prayers, this is about domination.

5. We have seen loads of similar videos from The Netherlands on the counter-narrative hosting platform, Dumpert. But now, here in Canada, in Edmonton, in daylight with licence showing, some people are stealing an ATM machine in an SUV.

Here’s a guess. The idea is to flood the country with criminals in order to destroy our high trust society in every possible way so that to the public it appears that the only solution is a totally authoritarian state with digital IDs and CBDC to stop all this crime. Except it won’t. The state will leak data from citizens whenever it needs to hurt a group of people like it did during the Freedom Convoy when hackers working for the Trudeau regime hacked and released to the state propaganda agencies, the names of all who contributed to the protest when in fact it was a fully legal (and necessary) enterprise.  So just to get ahead of the curve here, ceding power to the state will not solve this or other problems. It will just centralize power away from the individual and the vice against all who are counter-narrative, and sooner or later that is everyone, will get tighter and tighter.
