We are surrounded in effective disinformation that makes fighting the actual enemy impossible: Links 1 for Nov. 21, 2025

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Trying to understand the landscape we’re standing in is difficult when all the loudest cartographers in your orbit are mis-mapping it in one way or another. There are very few who depict an accurate map. Stephen Coughlin is certainly one of the accurate ones, and a major source of inspiration for our own understanding. Counter-Spell (A path through) is another; both build plans of action grounded in a correct map of the battlespace. There are others as well, but those two stand out immediately.

Skipping ahead to a specific tactic: there are two words which have real and important meaning but are often deployed to deflect from meaning rather than clarify it.

Disinformation and Misinformation.

These are formal political-warfare terms. Disinformation is the deliberate crafting of false or misleading information designed to damage a target. Misinformation is the uncritical spreading of disinformation by those who sincerely believe it to be true.

Disinformation could also be understood as creating a dialectic or initiating a line of operation, depending on the strategic level, but that is deeper in the weeds than we need to go here.

Stephen Coughlin once used an analogy that deserves to be burned into our thinking.
Place an enemy agent beside a sniper who has a perfect bead on his target. The agent doesn’t need to seize the rifle or fire a shot. He only needs to nudge the barrel one millimetre. At the muzzle, that deviation seems microscopic. But if the target is a mile away, that single millimetre translates into a complete miss — the round can land yards off course.

This is what happens when certain terms are injected into our vocabulary, not by accident, but by design. Words that seem harmless — even “reasonable” — at the moment of adoption become the one-millimetre nudge that guarantees we never hit the target again.

And because these terms are promoted both by groups that are naively compliant (misinformation) and by groups that are deliberately subversive (disinformation), the distortion spreads. Some repeat these words because they truly believe they are being responsible. Others repeat them because they know that once the language is nudged off true, everything downstream — policy, perception, even reality itself — will miss the mark.

One of those terms is “Islamism”. A made up word that moves the barrel several millimetres away from Islam, which of course is the real issue.

To use another analogy, there are no “Nazi-ists”. There were just Nazis. Some were soldiers, some bakers. But all of them that operated for the philosophy of National Socialism had the same ambitions but worked in different areas to achieve them.

To have called the Soldiers Nazi-ists and the bakers, the National Socialists of Peace would be to lose the war.

For those still uncertain about the truth of this, I offer four bits of evidence.

1. The Koran and the rest of the Islamic canon. And for that, please make sure you get a proper translation of the Koran as it is in Arabic, not one of the English ones passed out at Dawa tables across Western cities, which have been sanitized for the Western audience. Again, moving the muzzle. We like the Maududi translation because Robert Spencer likes the Maududi translation and there are very few better experts on the matter, although he does have peers, all of which deserve our attention. (There are too many to name in this article but Bill Warner, Clare Lopez, Diana West, Stephen Coughlin, Sam Solomon an actual ex Islamic jurist) and many more are among them)

2. Islamic history since the time of Mohammad’s first utterances on Allah etc. (that have not been abrogated by latter utterances such that any peaceful words were negated by instructions to war and conquest)

3. The nature and composition of all regions governed by Islam an the treatment of all non muslims, where there even are any, within those territories.

4. Contemporary actions in the name of Islam and by Muslims, and sermons in mosques across the world, ‘Dar al Islam’ and ‘Dar al Harb’ inclusive.

I don’t have a crystal ball to let me know in all cases who are the naive spreaders of this particular term and who intends it as a weapon against the West. But in some cases it is very easy to be sure.

When you look at Obama’s Office of the CVE, (Trudeau had an exact equivalent office and policy who’s name escapes me at the moment) it was fully tasked to make damn sure that Islam was off the table as a threat doctrine. In fact it was the rules of the CVE that prevented the FBI from investigating the Tsarnaev brothers who did the Boston Marathon bombing, as every lead which pointed to a madrassa or other Islamic schooling or influence they had been exposed to, had to be treated as a dead end.

So we can know for a fact that Obama used these terms as disinformation devices. Moving the muzzle was a central tactic of his administration. I don’t think anything needs to be said about Starmer. After the Southport attack as the Starmer government bluntly lied about he origins and motives of the Muslim jihadi that stabbed 11 little girls at a Taylor Swift dance party and jailed people who knew the truth and said so, it’s safe to say its deliberate. The UK at this point is arresting 30 people a day for thought crimes.

The National Post has an article by Barbara Kay from the 19th:

Barbara Kay: Islamism — the threat to Canada you won’t hear uttered by the Liberals

The dangers posed to Canada’s cultural health and national security by Islamism have been known for decades

As I can’t read the article without paying for it, everything else I say here may be completely unfair. But based on the headline and summary sentence, I would counter with: Islam: The threat to Canada you won’t hear controlled opposition uttered.

Islamism is a term of allowable counter-narrative exactly because it does miss the mark.

I would ask any detractor to identify a single domain in which “Islamists” or “Islamism” act, speak, or operate in a way that is meaningfully distinct from Islamic doctrine, history, or contemporary practice.

Now to the list of related and semi-related items of interest:

1. John Carpay: How Ottawa ‘nudged’ a nation — Inside Canada’s covert behavioural science campaign

A critical look at how behavioural science shaped pandemic messaging and may influence future agendas from vaccines to climate policy.

The federal government’s Impact and Innovation Unit (IIU) worked very hard to persuade Canadians to get injected with the COVID-19 vaccine in 2021. Modelled after the United Kingdom’s Behavioural Insights Team, the IIU uses social psychology and “nudge” theory to test public messaging and implement other public behavioural interventions.

With the arrival of COVID-19, lockdowns, and vaccine mandates, the Government of Canada sharply expanded the role of the IIU to secure widespread compliance with vaccine mandates. The IIU applied behavioural-science research and extensive message-testing to craft a national communications strategy. For example, the IIU tested fictitious news reports on thousands of survey participants to examine how Canadians would react to different messages around the alleged safety of the vaccine and the alleged danger of not taking it.

For the rest, please click through to the WS. But this is squarely on target for the state use of propaganda and deception to create a result that had nothing whatsoever to do with informed consent or the public good.

2. So no effort is made to stop people from blocking streets or public monuments, cathedrals etc. But there will be an investigation into someone that interrupted an illegal protest by driving a city vehicle through that illegal protest without hurting anyone.

3. This one is important. Regina Watteel JUST managed to publish this pre print. Of course, there are official sites that are delaying and messing with its publication because it is counter-narrative. But here is it and I suggest you all download it for safe keeping since chances are it will get memory holed. Regina, the author of Fizman’s Fraud, publishes material that is bullet proof from her skills as a Ph.D data analyst and scientist, demonstrating that Covid measures and the Vaxx statistics where a deliberate fraud. Not incompetence, but malice. And she names names. Her book, Fizman’s Fraud points at the main Ontario man responsible for fake data sets to justify all these measures and proves this was the case.

Abstract and conclusion:

Unreliable Evidence: Flawed Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated Comparisons in Canada’s COVID-19

Vaccine Mandates

Abstract

Background: Canada’s 2021–2022 COVID-19 vaccine mandates and passports were implemented with the stated aim of reducing transmission and hospital burden. In the absence of randomized controlled trial evidence for these endpoints, policymakers relied on vaccinated vs. unvaccinated comparisons from surveillance data and observational studies, as well as ungrounded simulations, despite known methodological limitations that rendered such evidence unreliable for public health policies with rights implications.

Methods: We systematically critiqued Canadian public health surveillance reports and advisory briefs (Public Health Agency of Canada, Public Health Ontario, Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table) together with related studies, identifying seven key biases classified by severity (critical/catastrophic), correctability, and scope. Distortions were quantified using published rate corrections, classification rules, time-series data, and population trends.

Results: Critical biases included >40% misclassification of early post-vaccination cases as unvaccinated and an 80-fold overestimation of senior unvaccinated hospitalization rates due to denominator errors. Additional critical biases—age-standardization obfuscating low-risk youth trends, testing fluctuations understating breakthrough cases, and misattribution rendering COVID-19 hospitalizations an invalid metric for burden—further distorted policy evidence. Catastrophic biases—selection and cumulative methodology—rendered group comparability invalid. Population trends showed case and hospitalization surges despite >80% vaccination coverage, with vaccinated individuals dominating Omicron-era infections. Simulation studies retroactively justifying mandates contradicted real-world data with ungrounded counterfactuals used to estimate unproven benefits.2

Conclusions: Pervasive, uncorrected biases in observational comparisons invalidated causal claims of transmission or hospital burden reduction. Progressive reliance on weaker evidence— coupled with expert bodies’ lack of transparency in emphasizing unproven benefits while dismissing dissenting views—highlights a systemic failure to meet evidentiary standards for public health policies with rights implications. This analysis underscores the need for greater scientific rigor in interpreting observational data through real-time bias correction, transparent limitation reporting, and risk-stratified approaches to uphold evidentiary standards, ethical proportionality, and accountability. These lessons hold global relevance for evidence-based public health policy.

Background

Canada implemented COVID-19 vaccine mandates and passports between 2021 and 2022 with the stated aim of reducing transmission and hospital burden. In the absence of randomized controlled trial (RCT) evidence for these endpoints, policy makers relied on vaccinated vs. unvaccinated comparisons derived from routine surveillance data and observational studies.

This analysis demonstrates that pervasive methodological flaws in Canadian surveillance data rendered such comparisons unreliable for causal inference and therefore insufficient to justify

rights-infringing policies.

Canadian public-health data ecosystem

Public-health delivery is a provincial responsibility in Canada. Provincial agencies (e.g., Public Health Ontario (PHO) [1], Alberta Health Services, BC Centre for Disease Control) collect case, hospitalization, and mortality data; perform daily surveillance; and publish processed reports for local public-health units, hospitals, and ministries. These agencies provide raw/processed data with methodological caveats and may issue public-health guidance, but do not set policy.

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) [2] aggregates provincial/territorial submissions, produces national statistics, interprets trends, and issues guidance to the federal government. Each province has a Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) and may convene advisory panels; in Ontario, the self-selected Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table (OST)

[3] supplemented PHO outputs with interpretive briefs for the Ministry of Health and CMOH.3 Federal policy (e.g., travel mandates, federal workplace requirements) is set by Cabinet on advice from PHAC and the Chief Public Health Officer.

Evidentiary gap and policy reliance RCTs of authorized COVID-19 vaccines did not assess transmission or all-cause hospitalization—the outcomes central to mandate justifications. Observational comparisons therefore filled the evidentiary void, yet they inherit systemic biases that distort group definitions, inflate unvaccinated risk estimates, and preclude causal attribution. Population-level trends— surging cases and persistent hospital occupancy despite >80% vaccination coverage (Figures 1A, 1B)—further challenge the narrative that vaccines achieved the stated aim. Using publicly available Canadian surveillance data, we quantify these distortions and evaluate their ethical and scientific implications for rights-based policy.

4. Here is a near perfect example of government transparency when it comes to asking questions which show the state acting in a manner the public would highly disapprove of. I’ll leave it to each of us to try and sort out exactly why the state is determined to deemphasize paedophelia.

Unrelated: Mohammad married Aisha when she was 6 and playing with dolls. he had penetrative sex with her at 9. The Ayatollah of Iran wrote a book explaining what kinds of sex you can have with children and how.

5. The usual Hamassholes blocked people into a Synagogue Nov 19th.

Thank you all for checking out this site.

How Canada has decided to handle its veterans, while planing to train tens of thousands of civil servants in military tactics and weaponry.

This is just a really good video about Hollywood and leftist politics which has ruined it, Good riddance. Some interesting multiple references to changes in the industry right before “the flu” in 2020 though. That all in the first 5 minutes.
