Tommy Robinson gets an ‘Osman warning’ due to an ISIS threat, but no practical self defence is allowed
The Osman warning system in the UK seems to be more mocking the victims than helping them.
When the police know of a credible or actionable death threat to someone from one of the people or groups the UK imported and houses, feeds and pays salary to, they will call the target people and let them know there is a threat.
In this case, they are not allowed to see the actual threat because it is contained in ‘proscribed material’, The officer who called even said he was not allowed to see it. People who get the Osman warnings are also reminded they are not allowed to defend themselves. Or at least equip themselves in any way to do so.
(Technically legally he would be allowed to buy and wear some form of body armour like a stab or bullet proof vest. But the smart money would be that Tommy specifically could not as he would be said to have escalated a situation by being critical of Islam and therefore lose the right to wear it under British law.)
To the calling officer’s credit he did mumble something about materials you may have around the home might be used at home but not taken out of the house.
In any case, listen to this call between police, and Tommy Robinson who then decided fleeing the country was the safest course of action.
