The IPO Buzz: A Shopping Network & A Yacht Dealer Among $248 Million in Deals
WeShop (WSHP Proposed), which describes itself as “a shoppable social network,” and Off the Hook YS (OTH Proposed), a yacht dealer, are among the eight deals on tap this week that could raise a total of about $248 million. That’s a far cry from the $1 billion-plus IPO Calendar in play for each of the two previous weeks.
This lean line-up is in play as the U.S. government shutdown continues for the sixth week.
WeShop Holdings (WSHP Proposed), a social network that runs on product reviews, is based in the Channel Islands. WeShop plans to go public on Monday, Nov. 10, through a Direct Listing on the NASDAQ. This is not an IPO.
WeShop expects to offer about 4 million shares. The Direct Listing – if it’s priced at US$25.40 – could raise about $100 million. The company sold 12,000 shares of stock at the equivalent of US$25.40 per share on March 21, 2024, according to the prospectus. The reference price for the Direct Listing is likely to be set tomorrow.

Off the Hook YS (OTH Proposed), based in Wilmington, N.C., is a U.S. yacht dealer with eight locations and an online presence. The wholesale yacht dealer intends to raise $25 million in an IPO set to price after the closing bell on Tuesday, which is Veterans Day – Nov. 11th.
