Every year, microcap conferences introduce investors to dozens of promising companies. Yet, once the conference ends, there is rarely a structured way to measure which investment ideas actually performed the best.

The 2026 Microcap Stock Picking Contest will help track which investment ideas actually outperform and discover some great investors.

The contest gives investors an opportunity to test their stock-picking skills over a defined period while adding a little friendly competition to the microcap investing community. Top performers earn recognition for consistently identifying winning ideas.

The 2026 contest series features more than $15,000 in total cash prizes and bonuses across three separate competitions. Contest 1, focused on Planet MicroCap Las Vegas 2026, is now accepting submissions and offers a $5,000 prize pool + bonus prizes.

Contest 1 Details

Submission Window: June 28 – July 11, 2026
Submission Deadline: July 11, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET
Performance Tracking/Contest Ends: November 13, 2026

Participants are asked to build a portfolio consisting of five Starter Picks and two Bench Picks selected exclusively from companies attending Planet MicroCap Las Vegas 2026. All seven selections must be unique.

The contest is sponsored by GeoInvesting and MS Microcaps and is completely free to enter. There are no entry fees, subscriptions, or paid memberships required. Investors, analysts, newsletter writers, fund managers, and anyone with a serious interest in microcap investing are welcome to participate.

To ensure a fair competition, each participant may submit only one entry. Once submitted, selections cannot be changed. Each stock’s starting price will be based on the next official market closing price (4:00 PM ET) after the entry is submitted.

Winners will be determined based on portfolio performance through November 13, 2026, with the top-performing participants sharing the $5,000 prize pool.
