Mr. Cuong started gardening on his rooftop in 2024 with the desire to have a source of clean vegetables and fruits to serve his family’s daily meals, especially his two young sons.
In addition, he also wanted to create a green and refreshing corner right at home so his wife could have a space to relax and take photos without having to go anywhere far.
In the early days, rooftop gardening was not easy. From transporting soil, supplies, and fertilizer up to the third floor to planting in sunny and windy conditions, he encountered many obstacles. Although he grew up in a farming family, he still lacked experience in high-altitude gardening.
