Jesus is the Lion King from the tribe of Judah, and his coronation day will take place at the Second Advent

There is a Disney movie called ‘The Lion King’ that came out decades ago, and it’s sequel that was just released in the theaters, and if you’ve never seen either one let me just tell you right now they both borrow heavily from the Bible. Disney being what it is, it is purely unintentional on their part, but nonetheless there it is. The Lion King? Only one lion King, and that’s the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Jesus Christ.

“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.” Revelation 5:5 (KJB)

The entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, speaks of the coming King from the tribe of Judah who will rule and reign from David’s Throne in Jerusalem, and likens Him to a lion in both strength and regality. Jesus is the Lion King who is coming for His Church sooner rather than later, and will return with us at the Second Advent to claim His kingdom over this world. Disney will never make a movie like that, but they don’t have to, you can see it within the pages of your King James 1611 Authorized Version Holy Bible!

“Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee. Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up? The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes: His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.” Genesis 49:8-12 (KJB)

• THE LION SHALL BE PRAISED: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11 (KJB)
• THE LION’S COLT: “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.” Zechariah 9:9 (KJB)
• THE LION SHALL DESTROY HIS ENEMIES: “Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.” 1 Corinthians 15:24-26 (KJB)
• THE LION’S GARMENTS: “Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.” Isaiah 61:1 (KJB)
• THE LION KING IS CROWNED: “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” Revelation 19:16 (KJB)
• THE LION’S RULE: “And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” Luke 1:33 (KJB)
