President Trump Signs Shocking Executive Order Committing The United States Military To Defend The Muslim Nation Of Qatar From Any And All Attacks

The White House published an executive order from US President Donald Trump instructing the government to view any armed attack on Qatar as “a threat to the peace and security of the United States.”

Many people on social media are saying that Donald Trump is beholden to Israel and Netanyahu, which I disagree with, and one of the reasons I do is because when you look at the whole picture, you could make a pretty good case that Trump is much more amenable to what the Muslims in the Middle East want him to do. Such is the case with this very odd executive order that no one seems interested in talking about, an EO that commits the US military to defend Qatar if attacked.

Qatar is a hotbed of terrorist activity, not the least of which being providing support for the events of 9/11 back in 2001. Evidence shows that while the Qatari government itself did not finance the 9/11 attacks, a member of the Qatari royal family provided support to Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (KSM), the attack’s principal architect. In addition, Qatar has been accused of being a “permissive” environment for terrorist financing in the years leading up to and following 9/11. Qatar also has financed or currently finances groups like Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood and al Qaeda. Now they have a written guarantee that the US will step in and defend them which in reality is nothing more than a slap in the face to Israel. Remember the ‘MAGA In The Desert’ back in May? Remember the $400 million dollar Boeing luxury jet gifted to Trump by Qatar? Looks like you really do get what you pay for.

After Israeli strike, Trump declares US commitment to defend Qatar if it’s attacked again

FROM THE TIMES OF ISRAEL: The order, a notable American commitment to ensure the security of an Arab state, came some three weeks after an Israeli strike targeting Hamas leaders in Doha prompted criticism from Trump and outrage from the Qataris. Several lower-level members of the Palestinian terrorist group and a Qatari guard were killed in the attack, which failed to kill the key Hamas leaders it was targeting.

Trump subsequently promised that such an attack would not recur, and on Monday persuaded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to apologize to his Qatari counterpart for the strike and promise not to do so again.

“I want to assure you that Israel was targeting Hamas, not Qataris,” Netanyahu’s office said he assured Qatar’s Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. At a joint press conference with Trump later that day, Netanyahu stressed: “I said to the prime minister of Qatar, Israel was targeting terrorists. It wasn’t targeting Qatar. And of course, we regretted the loss of the Qatari citizen. He wasn’t our target.”

The executive order was issued as part of the formulation for Trump’s plan to end the Gaza war sparked by Hamas’s October 2023 attack on Israel, a proposal that Doha has praised and Netanyahu said he accepted. The order, which was signed Monday, indicated that the US will respond harshly to any future attack on Qatar.

“In the event of such an attack, the United States shall take all lawful and appropriate measures — including diplomatic, economic, and, if necessary, military — to defend the interests of the United States and of the State of Qatar and to restore peace and stability,” the order declares. Senior US officials will “ensure a rapid and coordinated response to any foreign aggression against the State of Qatar,” the order adds.

The US has a major airbase on Qatari territory, which was attacked by Iran earlier this year in retaliation for the American strikes on its nuclear program. Qatar has also served as a mediator in the Gaza war but refused to continue doing so following the Israeli strike on the Gulf state, which has long hosted Hamas’s political leaders and has close links to the terror organization.

“The secretary of state shall continue to partner with the state of Qatar as and when appropriate for conflict resolution and mediation in recognition of the state of Qatar‘s extensive diplomatic and mediation experience,” declares the executive order signed by Trump. READ MORE
