Determined to help others (though cautioned not to mention it at interview), Liz Evans set out on a career in allopathic medicine, which ended with a chronic adverse reaction to a flu vaccine. Once restored, by embracing complementary therapies, she was astonished to find that her colleagues in the NHS had no interest in finding out how she recovered—or what made her ill in the first place. This prompted retraining with the British Society of Ecological Medicine, in order to practice complementary medicine.
The many tyrannies of the COVID era set Liz on a journey in pursuit of medical ethics which, as far as she believed, were completely jettisoned by the allopathic tradition in 2020. Later that year, she established the UK Medical Freedom Alliance (UKMFA) of which she is Chief Executive. UKMFA has published a series of Open Letters, on the many areas in which medical ethics have been abused in recent years. UKMFA can also be found on X and on Substack.
Liz Evans has been a notable contributor to the People’s Vaccine Inquiry and she is a member of the Children’s Covid Vaccine Advisory Council (CCVAC).
