Ivermectin News

Good news, Arkansas readers!

On August 5th, 2025, Ivermectin became legal to sell over-the-counter (OTC) WITHOUT the need for a healthcare provider!

The health benefits of this much-needed miracle drug will go a long way in the maintenance of our health! Laboratory studies continue to support Ivermectin’s potential antiviral effects.

Ivermectin:

  • is a Nobel Prize-Winning Medication and one of the best health interventions of the past 50+ years and

  • has been registered for human use since 1987.

As of mid-2025, four states have passed legislation allowing the over-the-counter (OTC) sale of Ivermectin for human use, meaning it can be purchased without a prescription or consultation in:

  1. Tennessee – the first state to enact such a law (2022)

  2. Arkansas – law passed in March 2025

  3. Idaho – law passed in April 2025

  4. Louisiana – law enacted in June 2025

While only these four states have actually passed laws to make Ivermectin OTC, other states are currently considering similar legislation, including:

  • Texas,

  • New Hampshire,

  • North Carolina,

  • Pennsylvania,

  • Georgia,

  • Alabama,

  • West Virginia,

  • Missouri,

  • South Carolina,

  • and more are currently considering similar legislation.

Whether you see your state mentioned in the bullet points above or not, please reach out to your state legislators and let them know you support OTC Ivermectin. If you don’t already have a way to contact them, this may help:  State Legislature Websites.

Plus, Missouri and South Carolina may ADD hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as another over-the-counter drug as well.

Look at these passionate legislative efforts across the country which reflect a broader national trend that cry out for over-the-counter (OTC) access to both Ivermectin AND hydroxychloroquine.

In February 2025, here’s what Secure Arkansas wrote about Ivermectin and the bill in Arkansas.

And Five Stars! We want to give a BIG shout-out to Brock Thompson, the man who had the idea to contact Senator Alan Clark and get this on the legislative agenda for 2025.

Thankfully, in March 2025, our Arkansas legislature passed SB189, now Act396. We are so thrilled that there was overwhelming support for this bill that brought Arkansans medical freedom! And last but not least, our governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, for signing this bill into law!

Here’s what Brock posted on Facebook in April of this year:

Cheers! We also sincerely thank Senator Alan Clark and Rep. Mary Bentley for getting the ball rolling on the legislation, and thank you to the other co-sponsors listed on the bill:

By: Senators A. Clark, Caldwell, Crowell, Flippo, Hill, B. Johnson, M. Johnson, M. McKee, J. Payton, C. Penzo, J. Petty, Rice, J. Scott, Stone, G. Stubblefield, D. Wallace, Dees, J. Bryant, F. Love

By: Representatives Bentley, A. Brown, Hall, Long, Womack, Lundstrum, K. Brown, Crawford, Torres

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. supports the use of Ivermectin, and here’s a short video post on X: RFK Jr. on the truth about Ivermectin: “It was really a miracle drug…”

And Dr. Peter McCullough, a Texas cardiologist, has continued to advocate for Ivermectin usage. In a hearing before the Arizona Senate’s unofficial committee in March 2024, McCullough asserted that Ivermectin is “safer than Tylenol” across a wide dosage range. He argued that “every single American admitted to the hospital should have been administered Ivermectin”, claiming it “gave a chance at survival” and posed no safety concerns.

He placed blame on hospital protocols, NOT the virus itself, for many COVID-19 deaths.

Remember what happened? In looking at all the wrongdoing that occurred (and occurs), we can see:

  • pandemic (plandemic) response blunders – We received mixed messaging about masks, so-called “vaccines”, and treatments during COVID-19 that rightly fueled our suspicions that these organizations were NOT at all transparent and were proven untrustworthy.

  • conflicts of interest – NIH researchers sometimes hold patents or royalties connected to drugs and so-called “vaccines”. This has raised many concerning questions about incentives.

  • regulatory capture – Many argue that agencies meant to regulate big pharma end up too close to the industries they supposedly oversee. For example, a large amount of FDA’s funding comes from industry “user fees.”

  • WHO funding – The WHO is heavily reliant on large donors (including governments and private foundations like the evil Gates Foundation), which we believe influences priorities. So, we have been seeing a lot of corruption and bias.

Listed below are some documented examples where key U.S. health agencies have shown signs of influence, conflicts of interest, compromised judgment, and/or downright corruption!

1) FDA: Financial Ties AND Expedited So-Called Approvals

  •  User Fee Dependency (PDUFA)

Since the 1990s, the FDA’s drug approval operations have heavily relied on fees paid by pharmaceutical companies, now funding nearly half of the FDA’s drug review budget. We argue that this definitely creates a huge conflict of interest, as regulatory decisions could skew toward industry needs rather than our public safety.

Snippets from Roll Call linked above:

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed this past September, Kennedy wrote that he wanted to reform the prescription drug user fee program at the FDA.

“Pharmaceutical companies pay a fee every time they apply for a new drug approval, and this money makes up about 75% of the budget of the Food and Drug Administration’s drug division,” he wrote. “That creates a barrier to entry to smaller firms and puts bureaucrats’ purse strings in the hands of the pharmaceutical industry.”

And here we go again regarding the corrupt National Institutes of Health (NIH)!  See below:

2) NIH: Undisclosed Interests AND Foreign Influence

  • There are Financial Conflicts Among Grantees

An NIH watchdog revealed that about 3% of NIH-funded grants had undisclosed financial conflicts, like scientists having equity in companies profiting from their federally funded research.

  • Yes, Foreign Interference Cases

A 2023 NIH report disclosed 639 allegations of foreign interference since 2017, with 255 cases prompting institutional investigations, demonstrating vulnerability to non-U.S. influence.

  • We’ve known about:  Patenting and Administrative Dishonesty

Cases emerged where NIH-funded researchers failed to disclose owning foreign companies tied to their research, misrepresented employment, or benefited financially from intellectual property derived from NIH grants. Institutions had to return grant funds or impose sanctions when discovered.

World Health Organization (WHO): Donor Influence AND Major Budget Reliance

  • A recent analysis shows that voluntary contributions from donors (foundations and governments) make up almost a whopping 75% of the WHO’s budget. Such a great dependence would tempt most officials and influence their policy decisions. Do you think that would definitely help to reduce impartiality?

Well, readers, this should show and remind us that these agencies cannot be trusted and will undermine public trust.

BUT, among all this corruption, our legislature stood up for our medical freedom and allowed Ivermectin to be sold over-the-counter!

If you live in a state that doesn’t yet have legislation for OTC ivermectin, then please get busy and contact your state representatives and senators. Most of them want this drug available too, so just contact them!
