New toxin on food supply to be approved soon, despite “irreversible harm” warning

The synergistic effects of multiple PFAS exposures remain largely unstudied, yet combinations are still being approved.  The other four PFAS chemicals approved this year are trifludimoxazin, cyclobutrifluram, isocycloseram, and diflufenican.

The U.S. drinking water supply is being contaminated

A 2024 report from researchers at the Center for Biological Diversity, Environmental Working Group, and Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility confirmed that forever chemicals are increasingly being added to U.S. pesticide / herbicide products.  These chemicals contaminate waterways and pose documented threats to human health.

While individual PFAS chemicals differ in their specific toxicities, bioaccumulation potential, and water pollution profiles, all share one defining characteristic: they persist indefinitely.  PFAS ingredients in pesticide products have been detected contaminating streams and rivers nationwide.
