Apatzingán, Mich., September 3, 2024 – The Jalisco Cartel – New Generation (CJNG) announced with banners in the municipalities of Apatzingán and Buenavista, its arrival in those municipalities hand in hand with three local criminal groups, thus confirming the alliance of cartels seeking control of the state.

On Tuesday morning, banners signed by the CJNG appeared in the communities of Acahuato, Las Colonias, El Pájaro and Catalinas, as well as in the main square of Apatzingán, on Constitución de 1814 Avenue, and at the intersection of this avenue with Francisco I. Madero.

Other banners were located in Las Graditas, and on the monumental sign of Apatzingán, next to the monument to Lázaro Cárdenas.

The banners, addressed to “all our people of Apatzingán”, inform of the CJNG’s alliance with the Viagras cartel, and its armed wing Los Blancos de Troya, as well as the group commanded by “Señor de La Virgen”.

“Very good things are coming for the region, peace is coming and we let civilians and other armed groups know that they should be calm, our war is only against the Knights Templar and those of Tepeque,” said the Jalisco Cartel.

It also threatened anyone who helps its rivals in any way, because if they do, “they will become our enemy.
