Live Updates: 26 Cartel Figures Extradited (Transferred) to the US Including "El Cuini," "Chavo Felix," and "El Flaquito"

This Tuesday, the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) reported that they transferred 26 people to the United States. Video has been published showing several of them being loaded onto a military plane under heavy guard.
Through an informational card, they announced that the 26 people, without revealing their names, had extradition orders and were wanted for their ties to criminal organizations for drug trafficking, among other crimes, and represented a permanent risk to public safety.
Omar Garcia Harfuch says the transfer was done under the National Security act, the same legal framework used in the 29 kingpins sent to the US in February, bypassing the formal extradition process.
US Ambassador to Mexico Ronald Johnson noted in a news release that among those transferred today were key operatives of the Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) and Sinaloa Cartels.

- “Chavo Félix,” hitman and son-in-law of “El Mayo” Zambada.
- Pablo Edwin Huerta, “El Flaquito,” leader of the CAF/Arellano Félix Cartel, formerly the Tijuana Cartel.
- Abigael González Valencia, leader of Los Cuinis, the financial arm of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and brother-in-law of “Mencho.”
- Roberto Salazar, is accused in the 2008 killing of a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy. He has no direct cartel ties but was an Avenues gang member at the time of the killing. Two other gang members who participated have been convicted.

- Servando Gómez, “La Tuta” former leader of the Knights Templar.
- Ricardo González, “El Ricky” or “Mando R,” arrested on February 3, 2025 and identified as the second-in-command of the Cartel del Noreste.
- Kevin Alonso Gil Acosta “El 200″ of the Los Chapitos faction of the Sinaloa Cartel.
- Jehonany Alexander Valdéz Serrano“El 500″ or “El Ingeniero.”
- Mario Alexander Gámez Cuevas “El Piyi” who operated initially under “El Nini” for Los Chapitos.
- Mario Alberto Núñez Ojeda “El Jando,” a pilot for Ivan Archivaldo Guzman.
