Kadapa Collector Initiates Divisional Level Exam For Class 10 Students To Boost Academic Excellence

Kadapa – Andhra Pradesh (Before It’s News – IC): As part of an initiative to improve academic performance among students, the District Collector Sivasankar Lotheti has instructed all government school headmasters to select and prepare Class 10 students for a divisional level competition exam. The exam, scheduled for September 24, will cover key subjects and serve as a platform for students to demonstrate their academic skills, with top performers being selected for an educational tour to Visakhapatnam.
- Headmasters to submit student details for participation
Government school headmasters have been asked to immediately submit the details of three students (1+2 pattern: one girl and two boys or two girls and one boy) from Class 10 to participate in the divisional level competition. The exam, based on the SSC syllabus up to September, will test students in English (15 marks), Telugu (15 marks), Mathematics (15 marks), Physical Science (10 marks), Natural Science (10 marks), Social Studies (15 marks), General Knowledge (10 marks), and Reasoning (10 marks).
- Examination venues
The examination will be conducted at four venues: ZPHS Boys Badvel, MPL Gandhinagar, Govt. HS Ahobilapuram, and ABMHS Proddatur.
- Top Performers to be rewarded with educational tour
Sayed Afsar, School Assistant (English), emphasized that the initiative comes directly from the District Collector as part of efforts to enhance academic excellence among students. “Those who excel in the examinations will be selected for an educational tour to Visakhapatnam. Only 150 students will be chosen by the Collector based on merit,” Pasha explained. He urged students to make the most of this “golden opportunity” and expressed his gratitude to the District Collector and the Education Department for organizing such programs aimed at students’ development.
