Anantapur District SP Jagadish congratulated and felicitated Constable Shafi for his sporting performance in the Andhra Pradesh Master Athletics State Level Competitions.

Impressive medal haul in state-level event

Anantapur – Andhra Pradesh: Constable Shafi of Kalyanadurgam showcased his athletic excellence by securing four medals at the Andhra Pradesh Master Athletics State Level Competitions. Held at the Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy Ground, the event saw participation from around 1,000 athletes representing various districts.

Shafi clinched gold in the 200m and 400m races, bronze in the 100m event, and silver in the 4x100m relay, demonstrating his exceptional speed and endurance.

SP lauds dedication to sports and service

Recognizing his remarkable achievement, Anantapur District Superintendent of Police (SP) Jagadish felicitated Shafi in his chamber at the District Police Office. The SP commended the constable’s ability to balance his responsibilities in law enforcement while excelling in athletics, urging him to continue his pursuit of excellence.

Qualified for national championship in Bangalore

With his stellar performance at the state level, Constable Shafi has now qualified for the National Master Athletics Championships, scheduled to be held in Bangalore from March 4 to 9. His achievement not only brings pride to the district police force but also serves as an inspiration to aspiring athletes in the region.
