MLA Jaganeshwar Reddy Assures Support For Ambedkar Bhavan In Emmiganur
Emmiganur – Andhra Pradesh: Around 100 Dalit Bahujans and JAC leaders marched from the town’s big park to the R&B Guest House on Friday, urging immediate allocation of funds for the long-pending construction of the Ambedkar Bhavan. The delegation submitted a representation to MLA BV Jaganeshwar Reddy, pressing for action.

Long-pending demand since 2018
JAC Honorary President Ramatheertham Amresh and Chairman Gaddam Nagendra recalled that in 2018, under the leadership of then MLA BV Jaganeshwar Reddy, 1.60 acres near the bull market were earmarked for the Ambedkar Bhavan. They urged the allocation of Rs 3 crore to complete the project, which they said would fulfill a long-standing aspiration of the Scheduled Caste community.

MLA assures action
Assuring action, MLA Jaganeshwar Reddy said the Telugu Desam government is committed to the socio-economic development of SCs. He added that he would consult with JAC leaders after the Assembly sessions and ensure the building’s construction is carried out in a systematic manner.
Dalit Bahujan and JAC leaders including Prasanna Kumar, Kadirikota Bathukamma, Narasappa, S Charles, BSS leaders Mallesh, Muneppa, and others participated in the rally and representation program.
