Unlike the first expulsion for worshipping idols, they were never reformed as a nation because of their rejection of Salvation, through Christ. There is no other way.
Was the restablishment of Israel an act of God? Maybe.
Was its government ever since àn act of God? Never!
It has never been Godly in any way, shape or form.
Why did God allow this to happen?
Was it for the sake of his promise?
God has nothing to do with corruption and aetheism which the government of Israel has always consisted of.
God allowed its reformation in accord with his promise to revitalise the Jews as a nation, not as a corrupt nation but a nation under God.
This must follow. God does nothing in vain. But it may take the destruction of Israel under its current leadership first, as it seems there is no other way.
