How good can it get for the next Seven Generations?

How can we make choices that help to ensure the most optimal future for mankind?
What kind of positive future can we now envision for humanity?
The Native American concept of seven generational thinking invites us to think about long-term consequences of whatever choices we are making. Such a focus can help to ensure we steer clear of materialistic short-term, potentially dead-end paths.
I just watched a conversation between Gregg Braden and Daniel Estulin, where Gregg brought up the idea that Transhumanism has been planned for at least the past two generations, and there are three levels of transhumanism, and we’re engaged with the first two levels right now. The first level involves augmenting human beings with physical technological enhancements, such as replacing body parts with synthetic body parts, such as surgeries to replace knees or hips. We’ve seen the early arrival of brain-computer interfaces, such as the Neuralink chip, which can assist people in communicating via thoughts in a way that activates external systems and devices. Elon Musk’s Neuralink money played video games with brain activity alone in 2021. A nine-year-old Macaque monkey was able to play a game of “Mind Pong,” which is a simple computer video game like the original Pong video game, but this game utilizes an implanted computer chip interacting with the monkey’s mind, rather than a joystick or computer control. Future developments of nano-robotic interfaces might bring extension of longevity, as well as physical, sensory, and cognitive improvements. Nano-robotic technologies could also include control over emotions, behavior, and spiritual experiences, as well as enhancements in psychic and mind-matter interaction abilities.
Transhumanists envision a future where technological innovations can resolve past differences of perspectives of politics, ethics, and religion as technological improvements march steadily forward to create human beings who have undergone enough technological enhancements that they are no longer easily categorized as an ordinary human, due to having extended life span, enhanced cognitive abilities, and prosthetic implants–yet these transhumans are still primarily human in terms of functional biology and independent conscious agency. It is not all that hard to imagine that left unchecked or without a clear sense of optimal outcome, transhumans might conceivably at some point leave many traces of original humanity behind, with humans no longer requiring families with mothers and fathers to be born–as some dystopian books and movies, like The Matrix, or Logan’s Run have suggested. And we might well ask at what point are we no longer homo sapiens (“wise humans”), but something else. And we might also ask, when we leave wisdom behind, where does humanity next go?
Where humans ultimately end up after receiving technological innovations depends to large degree on how we envision our future, and to what degree we prioritize various goals. Apparently, there now exists some discussion about “recalibrating the pleasure centers in the brain,” which could purportedly provide cleaner, safer alternatives to pharmaceutical mood enhancers. People suffering from depression, anger, or addiction–and those around them–might thus be spared a great deal of suffering from emotional surges.
Another goal of interest to some transhumanists is the path toward becoming “immortal transhumans” in contrast with mortal humans. This goal is one that appeals more to some than others, but essentially there is also an aspect of improved quality of life along with the immortal aspect, such that growing old can finally be “for sissies,” because there won’t be nearly as many physical aches and pains as physical bodies age and steadily break down.
A goal of great interest to military operations is something involving humanlike robots controlled by brain-computer interfaces that operate something like the avatar bodies in the movie, Avatar. In this vision of the future, soldiers of the future might not personally engage in physical combat, but rather would operate robot bodies that are impervious to much of the weaponry being employed on the battlefield.
We might well ask, “How good can Transhumanism get for the next Seven Generations?” And this is a fascinating question, that opens up many further questions.
Why Conscious Agency and Philosophy Matters
At this pivotal point in human evolution, each of us actually has an important say in what the future brings. It’s easy to feel powerless, as just one small person amidst a world of faster-and-faster technological innovations and developments. It can seem that one person’s viewpoint and intentions can’t make a difference–yet I’m certain that is not the case.
If anything, each of us has the ability to play an absolutely essential role in selecting the realities that our collective consciousness subsequently enjoys. We do this through the steady, on-going influence that we quietly and typically without much fanfare or notice are exerting on “outer” physical reality. We are magnificent conscious agents, consisting of many levels or layers of conscious agency, and what we most need, love, desire and focus strong emotions on absolutely comes into our world.
Ultimately, the age old struggle of light and dark is one in which we feel simultaneous pull toward being the best versions of ourselves we can be, while noting that for some reason, we are often vexed and tormented by all manner of diversions, distractions, confusions, and outright chaos. Kingsley Dennis writes about this struggle in his excellent book, The Inversion: How We Have Been Tricked into Perceiving a False Reality. One thing we might well notice when facing choices regarding potential impact to the next seven generations is the matter of how short-term versus long-term the decision factors are. When contemplating what’s best for all concerned long-term, we are less likely to make choices based on how they help us be lazier, vainer, greedier, and focused on material (as compared with spiritual) goals.
As the homo sapiens (“wise humans”) that we are, we can take a look at how well our experts and systems are serving us currently, and where room for improvement lies. Now is the perfect time to take a good look at how some kind of topsy-turvy inversion
Where Does Transhumanism Lead?
It’s possible to envision that transhumanism could lead the way through our existing materialistic, mechanistic worldview to one in which robots, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and free energy are part of our daily life. And as we envision all of these disruptive technologies coming through simultaneously, our old worldview will be forever shaken.
Something not often discussed is that as soon as these technologies arise together, there will likely be some unanticipated outcomes. Chief amongst these is that the dominant classical paradigm of our post-industrial, information age will give way, of necessity, to a new quantum paradigm. This new quantum paradigm will come with a new language of mathematics, a new quantum logic, and a completely revised awareness of what reality truly is and who we humans truly are. This astonishing series of revelations has the power to do what it needs to do, which is provide us with a foundational basis for thriving in a post-industrial world.
We will now have the opportunity to see the hidden “observer” behind the scenes–and the way that consciousness has been creating this shadow-world of dream-like reality, that increasing numbers of our top technologists now view as a Simulation. Rather than neurons and physical brains and our DNA creating consciousness–we will (finally!) come to formally acknowledge that it absolutely must be the other way around.
Long held materialistic assumptions of objectivity will be gone, as our new systems and new technologies run instead on the realization that the many worlds of quantum physics are one and the same as the multiverse. Skillfully moving through multiverses of possibility can feel like living a waking dream, in which one’s thoughts and feelings can instantly initiate changes in the “outer” material world.
It’s possible for Transhumanists to choose optimal transhumanist futures when considering how the various technological enhancements truly will be considered to be improvements by future generations to come.
Where does Revhumanism lead?
Humanity has a choice now with regard to which path we choose to take when envisioning our best possible future. Revhumanism provides us with an alternative path to Transhumanism, in that it invites us to discover natural human abilities. Part of this natural process of living up to our names as homo sapiens (“wise humans”) is to step fully into our roles as conscious creators, with awareness that consciousness creates this physical world–and it’s not our DNA, brains, and neurons that are creating consciousness.
We see evidence that this bifurcation point has been expected for a long time, when viewing the split into two worlds depicted on the Hopi prophecy rock, which indicates that some people will choose to stay close to nature and the relationships with each other in the natural world, while others will take a different path. Clearly depicted on the dead-end path is the detail that some humans will lose their heads, in the sense that their heads are no longer connected to their bodies. The humans who do not lose their heads and do not lose the connection to knowing their eternal, infinite true nature in the form of Consciousness continue to the next world, the Fifth World.
And one of the best ways to ensure that we “keep our heads” as wise humans is to remember to include the next seven generations each time we make a decision with potentially long-term consequences. This kind of thinking comes naturally for Revhumanists, who recognize and respect the relationships we have with Nature, one another, and future generations to come.
