From “America First”—Fast Forward to the New World Order

On the latest episode of Truth Matters, show host Tom Donahue brought a very interesting article to my attention published by the Council on Foreign Relations called, Trump’s New World Order.

As Trump brings the U.S. into foreign squabbles, it appears he’s strayed from his promises of “America First” to what seems to look more like The New World Order. He has flipped the flop. The supposed anti-establishment candidate has started to deliberately reverse direction and seems to look more like the establishment every day.

As the CFR article stated, “…Trump was elected twice on a platform renouncing the very ‘regime change’ and ‘nation building’ he now appears keen to be undertaking.”

As I told Donahue, I always look at these political scenarios as theater. I examine them through a spiritual lens; otherwise in my opinion, it’s all nonsense.

The more I read that CFR article and compared it to biblical prophecy, the clearer a picture I got.

Is Trump’s behavior intentional or coincidence? I can’t tell you for sure.

The article compares Trump’s abrupt about face from anti-interventionist to hemispheric dominance as a return to the “Monroe Doctrine.” While he asserts U.S. control over the entire Western Hemisphere (North and South America, Caribbean, now Greenland), his attitude is that everyone else can control their own regions.

If you step back and really look at what Trump is doing, he is acting in concert with a framework of regionalism, a ten-region global power structure—exactly what Revelation prophesied two thousand years ago.

The Old World Order vs. Trump’s New Regional Model

For decades, the establishment pushed one world governance through international institutions—the UN, NATO, IMF, WTO. But the problem with this model is that you are trying to impose one system on 195 countries that have different governments, cultures, and religions.

If Trump’s regional model eventually moves into 10 regions with their own leadership, eventually these 10 regions could more easily be brought under one world authority or government. It’s easier to meld 10 regional governments than 195 countries.

Whether intentional or not, could this Trump move bring us toward the ultimate one world government spoken about in biblical prophecy?

Revelation 17:12-13 describes this exact sequence: “And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.”

Notice the prophetic timeline:

Stage 1: Ten kings receive power as independent rulers (ten kings over ten regions)

Stage 2: They rule “one hour” (brief period of regional autonomy)

Stage 3: They achieve “one mind” (agree to a unified purpose)

Stage 4: They give their power to the beast (final consolidation under one authority)

The Ten Regions Taking Shape Right Now

When I asked AI to give me the current state of worldwide regionalism, this is what it produced:

The regions listed in 1 through 4 show explicit 2025-2026 developments tied to Trump policy. The regions listed in 5 through 10 represent ongoing consolidation trends accelerating in recent years. All ten remain works in progress.

Again, you don’t need to convince 195 nations to submit to global government. You only need to convince 10 regional leaders. And Scripture tells us exactly how that happens:

Revelation 17:17 - “For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”

The consolidation happens because God Himself puts it in their hearts to do it. This isn’t just human planning—it’s divine orchestration using human ambition as the instrument.

The deception of this approach is that each region thinks it’s winning:

• Americans think we’re rejecting globalism

• Russians think they’re restoring their empire

• Chinese think they’re achieving their rightful place

• Europeans think they’re maintaining their union

But all of them are accepting the same underlying framework: regional stronghold controlling their territories.

Trump supporters think they’re defeating the New World Order. The establishment thinks they’re managing geopolitical transition. But spiritually what we’re actually watching is the literal construction of the end times power structure described in Revelation.

The ten regions aren’t the “end” of globalism. They’re the “pathway” to it.
