The weather pattern remains active through the middle of the week with numerous mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. The hot upper level ridge to our west influences our weather late in the week with well above normal temperatures. A cold front will approach from the northwest during the weekend but may not reach our area as hot weather continues.

Additionally, some storms could be strong to marginally severe today and overnight tonight with damaging winds and additional heavy rainfall as the main threat. Timing confidence is very low. By daytime Wednesday, the odds of organized thunderstorms becomes low, and the risk of attendant flooding potential also becomes low.


Pollen levels are expected to be in the low-medium range (3.7 out of 12) today with Grasses and Nettle being the main culprits. Tomorrow is expected to be in the medium range (5.4 out of 12.0).
