It has been another hot summer here in Phoenix. Next summer will be cooler though — because the Biden Regime has banned plastic forks:
The Biden administration announced it is launching a plan to “phase out” the “procurement of single-use plastics from food service operations, events and packaging by 2027, and from all federal operations by 2035,” according to the White House.
The ambitious decree targets more than plastic forks:
The plastic includes “plastic and polystyrene food and beverage containers, bottles, straws, cups, cutlery and disposable plastic bags.” …
The US government is one of the largest consumers of goods because of how many people it employs.
Banning plastics will raise costs and hurt the plastics industry. But it will be worth it because the ban will supposedly fix the weather.
Tempting as it is to burst out laughing at the silliness of climate ideology, there is an alarming aspect. A population witless enough to be convinced that plastic forks make it be too warm outside might even be convinced to vote for Harris/Walz.
