GENERAL OUTLOOK

Hot and humid high pressure will remain across the region through the rest of the week. The chance of showers and thunderstorms will slowly increase through the Labor Day holiday weekend. Temperatures will remain above normal through the weekend falling to below normal for the middle of next week as a cold front moves south of the area and cooler high pressure builds in from the north.
