A cold front will approach the area and push east across the area today, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms both afternoons. Drier conditions will return next week with low rain chances and below normal temperatures through at least Thursday.

A slight chance of showers before 7am, then a slight chance of showers after 1pm. Areas of fog before 9am. Otherwise, cloudy through midmorning, then gradual clearing, with highs in the mid 80s. Calm winds in the morning increasing to come out of the northwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon. The chance of rain is 20%.
