Christians Repressed From Ireland to Idaho

A devout Christian teacher at a Church of Ireland boarding school unwilling to accept “the hellish ideology of transgenderism” was jailed for the third time Monday for violating a court order.

Enoch Burke violated a court-imposed injunction by not staying away from Wilson’s Hospital School in Heathland, which is about 55 miles northwest of Dublin, and was sent back to Mountjoy Prison, The Irish Times reported. …

Burke was suspended by the school in August 2022 after objecting to using a new name and “they” pronoun of a student who wanted to change gender.

…or a member of the National Guard in Idaho:

A Christian infantry officer is now being punished by the Idaho Army National Guard for using his First Amendment right to speak out against the LGBTQ+ ideology that he believes is harming children.

In 2023, the officer posted about some of his deeply held beliefs on his private social media account while running for political office in his “private capacity.” According to Liberty Counsel, the legal group defending him, his posts included statements “against graphic, obscene children’s books in a library and the promotion of a ‘drag kids’ event and drag queens in schools.”

Such opinions are not tolerated under the liberal doctrine of “repressive tolerance.”

A “subordinate senior enlisted man who claims to be homosexual” denounced him as a thought criminal, squealing predictably about feeling “unsafe” and referencing “my husband and my child.” Consequently,

As a result of this complaint, the infantry officer was removed from command by the Idaho Army National Guard, “then illegally pressured … to resign without benefit of any counsel or notice.”

“You will resign, or we’ll make this ugly,” the Christian officer was told.

Christians have suffered for their faith before. If society continues to succumb to moonbattery, this faith will be tested.
